Post by Lich Lord »

Let's list our favorite enemies in Oblivion, for me its gotta be the Lich they are great bosses when fighting with a mage character all dramatic and stuff with da explosions, creatures summoned, and the lich just absorbing your attacks, sweet

Guards. Thats right, Guards. Big fights with them on the bridge to Skingrad, leaping out of the brush to attack a Legion Soldier on his Horse, dueling with Hieronymus Lex and the other captains, slaying the Palace Guards above the Elder Council chamber, all so epic and fun.

For the most challenging enemies, I think mudcrabs. I dont see them and when I have to fast travel i am unable, and have to come back kilometers to find an annoying crab trying to kill me. Its a challenge to find them with long grass without high level detect life spells

The whole Resistance/Weakness bit is pretty fun, but the Silence ability is just downright annoying.

Edit: SI Spoiler below

I HATE Auriel

Mazkin are tolerable at best. I usually side with Dementia because their duke ritual is so easy. :) I'm too lazy for stealth.
