Oblivion Sidequest Challenge #1

Are you bored? Have you finished the main quests and larger sidequests in both Oblivion and the expansions? Well here is a nice, fun challenge for you to try.

Step #1: Create a New Character.
Step #2: Join the Dark Brotherhood. Complete the Dark Brotherhood.
Step #3: Join the Thieves Guild. Complete the Thieves Guild.

Now here is the "Challenging" park.

Rules:

Rule #1: You cannot go into stealth (unless you HAVE to to pick-pocket someone for a quest).

Rule #2: You cannot jump. (Unless you HAVE to, once again, to get into an area for a quest).

Rule #3: You must always Resist Arrest.

Rule #4: You cannot level up.

Extra Challenge

#1: Attempt to use minimal lockpicks.

#2: Attempt to gain minimal infamy points.

#3: Try not to Pay Off your Fines and Bounties (With Christoph/S'kriiva)

I have done this myself, so it is possible. Why, it isn't even that difficult if you have done the quests a few times before.

Also, I made through it using seven lockpicks and only *Cough* ninety-eight infamy points.

Oh well. Have fun, I suppose.

I can get through without using any lock picks.... its called SKELETON KEY

98? I had a brotherhood quest go wrong and commited a stupid amount of murders to finish it, but I only had 77 infamy after both questlines, and the various crimes I had commited independently.

what happened?

I...had some run-ins with the guards...

I thought the skeleton key was a thieve's guild item so I wound up doing all db and thieve's guild quests without it. must have broken hundreds of lockpicks...

this is pretty funny, it took me like 2 weeks to figure out how to pick locks, I originally thought that you picked locks by knocking the tumblers into the air and pressing 'x' while it was in the air. It took another 2 months to get good at the mini-game once I did figure out you were supposed to lock the tumblers in place.

(for non-xbox users, 'x' is the auto-attempt)

he is talking about any more you don't start a new character this is after you finish the main quests

Er, Create a New Character is Step #1, because I assumed that most people who have completed the main Storyline have already done those two quests. It is just sort of an extra challenge for them.

Make an Argonian do all the Mage's guild recommendations get the staff have him make you a staff of paralysis take staff to ruin shoot Umbril with an arrow run back to room with poison trap lol use staff vigorously on her whilst amid the poison if your quick you can kill her w/o ever getting hit just get behind her every time she stands up...She always drops her shield down the trap though

That staff can annhilate the entire Imperial City...it is just so beautiful.

I don't mean to be nit-picky but that staff at level 1 is only 3 seconds so all you could do is constantly cast it because by the time you go to do another attack they will be getting back up and will attack back.

there is a pillar you can get on and she cant attack you, its very easy with that staff

Of course at level 1, low level acrobatics is a problem. That's why I'd normally summon a scamp or something to keep her busy and then just ANNHILATE her. It's about a three shot to kill her with Apotheosis, I believe.
