"Bloody racists..." Leille muttered, flipping a coin. One of her Imps crawled under her chin, chirping. "I know, sweetheart." The witch said soothingly, scratching the creature's head with affection. "But you must show respect here, hun."
The second Imp fluttered behind her head, braiding her long red hair as it giggled. She laughed to herself as the first Imp joined in as well.

"I could drive a sword through your hearts in a moment." Matthias muttered to himself, and started to follow the guards. Matthias hated going anywhere without a weapon, and was cautious. He observed the walls, and faced the Mage, and was in awe.

"Enough." Leille laughed. The Imps began chirping. "You both need to settle down."
Each of the imps sat on Leille's shoulders. She began following the guards. One of the Imps turned to Matthias, who was watching. It stuck its tongue out with its thumbs in its ears, fluttering his hands. Leille noticed this, flicking the creature's cheek. It twirled through the air with a smaller chirp, then scurried back to the shoulder of its master with a frown, glaring at the warrior with its white eyes. The other Imp was slightly giggling.
"I am sorry about my dearest servants." Leille said to Matthias without looking in his direction. "They tend to be a bit...disrespectful at times." In the next second, the same creature was flapping its wings on the witch's shoulder, sticking its tongue out at Matthias again.

"It is okay, i am not a man of seriousness, i do find it quite funny." Matthias stuck his tongue out at the Imps, and held his ears. As soon as he stopped, he slipped and fell over.
"My name is Matthias, and you?" He said to the mage.

Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
Both of the Imps flew into the air and began chirping loudly as the warrior fell to the floor. "Leille." the witch replied. She eyed her Imps, which were flying in circled around her. "They can be foolish, and quite bothersome at times. But I love them like sons, and they return their love eagerly."
The Imps flew to Leille's shoulders, each kissing the opposite cheek at the same time. Leille laughed and scratched both of their heads with each hand. "You're the warrior, I presume?" she asked Matthias.

"Yes, i am one of the greatest i have been told. You look very powerful, glad to have you on my side." Matthias turned, and continued walking down the halls. He remained as anonymous as he could to the guards, and was waiting for a fight.

Leille put her hand on Matthias's shoulder. "No." she said quietly. "Don't start trouble for no reason. Especially not in front of royalty."

"Starting trouble?" Matthias said quietly. He was tense, and hated people who used others as slaves. His son had been abducted by a slave, and because of this, Matthias had a deep hatred for slavers.

Shows-His-Teeth trotted forward in silence. He did not plan on making a scene out of the incident that had just occured, if fact, he had expected something of the like to happen, and he didn't let it bother him much. Instead he remained in pace with the Altmer King, his personal guard, and the many others, ignoring Farseer as he walked past him. It was for the greater good.

Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
Farseer sighed, watching the Bretons fall in with the Imperials and the Argonian ignore him. He strode forwards.
The chambers were a massive cathedral-sized area, with beautiful frescoes depicting Altmer heroes and folk tales. The king took a seat next to his daughter.
Xander and the captain of the guard sat side by side. They had been forced to surrender their weapons upon entrance. Xander handed over his shortsword and bow without protest. The knight looked ready to tear the Altmer squire to bits when he was asked for weapons, but surrendered his glass claymore nevertheless. He removed his helm when he sat; he had messy but short brown hair, blood-red eyes and his ear was pierced with a golden ring. His skin was, for some reason, a darker color than Xander's.
The Altmer watched them all sit.
"You are the greatest heroes in all Tamriel who still remain free from the Empire's influence. Your task is simple. Destroy this ring."
He took from his pocket a simple silver ring and tossed it into the floor in the middle of the circle of chairs. It gleamed in the light, reflecting the faces of all the heroes present. It seemed to look at them.
"This is the One Ring, so called because it is the only item in which Ragnarok has entrusted his power--"
The knight sitting beside Xander laughed. "This trinket is why my lord Farseer has been called? The source of so much misery? You fool, Gandril! If you desired to destroy this....."
"Arathor," Xander said quietly. "Stop."
"....this ring," Arathor continued, ignoring Farseer's warning, "Was to smash it!"
"That's not going to work," Xander warned him again.
"Ser Farseer, you fail to see sense. You are as foolish as this supposed 'king'! You, man, give me a spear!"
He snatched one off a nearby knight and smashed the tip down on the ring. The spear shattered into a million pieces, and Arathor was thrown across the room. Xander raised a hand lazily, several ghosts appeared and caught Arathorn. They lowered him to the ground.
"The ring is enchanted," Gandril sighed. "It cannot be broken by mortal weaponry."
"You could have at least warned me!" Arathor barked. Xander sighed.

Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
Leille’s Imps cowered behind her hair in fear, holding onto it tightly with their feet pressed against her shoulders. Their chirps were silent, and hardly recognizable.
The witch eyed the ring from her seat, crossing one leg over the other. “Shh…” she said quietly to her Imps behind her. “Lava.” she stated plainly to the king and other heroes. “The molten fluid that runs through the veins of Red Mountain. It would melt the trinket to nonexistence.”
The Imps looked at each other in confusion. One of them fluttered to the ring, landing on the floor on all fours. It sniffed the ring for a second or two. He chirped loudly, tripping over the floor as he sprinted back to his master. He hid under her skirt, peeking out in fear.

Xander looked at the mage.
"Red Mountain is dormant. The Lord Nerevarine himself shut it down."
"The Nerevarine," Arathor scoffed. "The grandstanding s'wit."
"It's fires are no longer active," Xander persevered. "Though I believe you may be right about the volcano."
"The ring was forged in Idirsholan, an island far north of Skyrim," Gandril said.

"The Nerevarine shut down Red Mountain with magic. Perhaps we can get it started again with magic." Gardred suggested, "Maybe our glorious emperor has spared us the trouble by starting it again himself. I'm no expert on magic, but I know that none of it is permanent. I think the real issue is how it would be possible to cross Vvardenfell in one piece. Perhaps another solution is possible."

Xander sat forwards, looking grave. "You know, perhaps, of the creature which guards the Red Mountain?"

"What creature? This ring is obviously of evil descent. Whoever created it would have known how it was able to be destroyed. We could take it to scholars and have them identify it." Matthias stepped forward, and picked up the ring. He observed it, and as he stared, he felt something evil come over him. He was put into a trance, and was stuck in his place.

Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
To the others, he seemed to vanish.
Gandril stood, casting a spell of telekineses: he removed the ring from Matthias' finger.
"Do not touch the ring! It's power can corrupt the strongest of minds."
Xander watched this display, and then answered.
"The lord of the Sixth House guards the heart of lorkhan at the center of red mountain. He is called Voryn Dagoth, and although the Nerveraine crushed his body, his spirit remains, a shadow of his former glory. To make Red Mountain active, you would have to kill Dagoth Ur, an impossible feat. Only one sword can damage him, and that was lost eons ago."

Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
"We CAN find this sword, and defeat Dagoth Ur's soul. The Nerevaring defeated him a long time ago, and he was only a released prisoner. If a prisoner can do it, with a might Warrior with a Mage and 2 others, we surely can do it. We just need hope!" Matthias cursed out from hushed breath, he was still half shocked from the paralysis.
Re: Lord Of The Rings-Elder Scrolls Style RPG
Shows-His-Teeth frowned.
"You can end your speech now. The fact is, we need to do something. We can't just sit around like this, so let's get a move on."
He turned to the Altmer King. "We'll need supplies, obviously."

"Well, we need to come up with some kind of plan, i agree on sending it to Red Mountain. We would have to Get past Dagoths Ur's soul, so we would need some type of silver weapon. Arathor would be a great addition, surely he would come with us?"

Leille sighed, then giggled a bit. "It seems as though the users of that bloody Heart never die. The Tribunal, Dagoth Ur...Who knows what happened to the Dwemer? They could still be alive, for all we know!"
Meanwhile, her Imps had become involved in a complete fist fight with each other. In one hit, the first Imp blasted the second to the Altmer king's direction. He bounced off the king's leg, rolling across the floor. When he sat up, his head was nearly spinning. He was quite dizzy...
Leille blushed as she ran to her Imp and picked him up under the shoulders like a mother would to her newborn baby. "But the warrior makes a point. We won't be making any serious progress sitting on our butts all day."
