Welcome to the forums! If you wish, you can introduce yourself: Here
Daedric Longswords look awesome, and are quite powerful, and with that enchantment you gave it, i would consider you quite deadly
I'm a fan of Longswords, for their range is the best, but there's nothing like blasting enemies away with Destruction hehe,
but if i had to pick one, the sword Goldbrand. The best of both words

Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
In Cyrodiil, my trusty Escutcheon of Chorrol (longsword). It's a quest item so it weighs nothing.
In Oblivion worlds, I use the enemy's Daedric Warhammers against them. I think it's poetic justice to give all those Xivilai and Dremora Valkynaz baddies a taste of their own medicine!
I can use my Blade and Blunt skills freely, because they're both maxed at 100.
Great fun!

Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
welcome to the forums
my favourite weapon is Shadowrend. It's awesome and i think is the best looking weapon
i also like the machete - looking daedric shortswords and mehrunes razor
i often use drain 100 pints for 1 second as a finishing blow (its really excellent as a touch spell, just hit the enemy with your sword till their health bar is low and then pow)

Ahem. I prefer longswords any time and any place - nice reach, good looks, and it makes me feel important. Umbra and I are currently tearing up the Shivering Isles, and enjoying it very much.

Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
I've always had a penchant for Blunt weapons personally. Volendrung can be devastating, but only if you're willing to fill it up again after every fight. The Mace of the Crusader has some very useful abilities, and lets you use a shield. Probably the best Blunt however is Shadowrend, if not for the incredible damage it can deal in one strike.

Well hi noob, as you must know no masters give their secrects away straight away, for free, or for nothing. No matter how much you like some weapon, you still have to get it. - Nothing comes for free - or how do you think?GrandChampion wrote:Hi guys! as you can probably tell, im a noob. so please mr. trolls, take that into consideration.

Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
I would have to say any of the Fine Steel set. In Vanilla that is, I mostly use modded weapons nowadays but nothing beats a good old Fine Steel Claymore for smashing skulls and looking awesome!
Is this meant to be witty, informative or deep? I doubt I can manage all three.

Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
That's the shield. You meant the Honorblade of Chorrol, which I completely agree with. Does great damage at level 1, doesn't weigh anything, has no stupid enchantment so there's no trouble repairing it or constant message saying its out of charges...what's not to like?h8ball wrote:In Cyrodiil, my trusty Escutcheon of Chorrol (longsword). I too thought Daedric weapons were nice until the 20th or so time I saw Random Bandit Hedge Wizard #1 with one. Now my character won't use anything but Perfect Madness.

I go for Perfect Amber but Madness still looks the part. Especially the Madness battle axe. Re: Favourite Oblivion weapon
In terms of looks, the Madness Axe is my favourite followed closely by Thornblade.
In terms of efficiency, the Bound Sword(Claymore) is by far my favourite.
