So i was thinking, im going to try my own RP, but i need an idea, what you guys want to see. I mainly was thinking a council of heroes' sent to destroy an army/King or queen. So, what should i try?

Too many pretentious rules and not enough incentive to not be a Mary Sue.

I want to make a Lord of the Rings-style RP in an Elder Scrolls setting. It would begin in Summerset Isle where the Fellowship is formed to destroy the source of the corrupt Emporer's power, a ring. They travel across Tamriel, fighting armies of Imperial Troops and Daedra, to the far East, to destroy it in the fires of Mt. Necros where it was forged.

The fellowship would consist of nine members, of different races, and each a different class. NPCs could be controlled by any player to advance the story, but they must only have one main character.

Anything else you need to know?

Maybe you should change it so it isn't exactly like Lord of the Rings. Some other item besides a ring, and a different way in which to destroy it? Otherwise, it's going to feel very anti-cllimatic when we complete our epic quest, knowing what is about to happen. That's just my thoughts.

Ah, I'm playing a Dark Elf noble of House Redoran, so that should be an interesting bit of chemistry between them.
