Is that ok ?

Post by Gudovac »

I was looking at ESRB and it says oblivion is for MATURE--- it contains Blood and Gore, Language, Nudity, Sexual Themes,Use of Alcohol, Violence.

lol use of alcohol...... but they forgot that skooma is a drug :Twisted Evil: :Twisted Evil:

Well oblivion is a drinking game, it has about 10+ alcohol drinks...... lol

What do you think about this ?

I think a barbarian would drink water, because it's free in pubs and they tend not to be too well off.

yea you must have gotten the earlier version when it was still rated teen, but i guess they had to re-rate it to mature, but there are still some out there

I think it's kind of crap to even say there's nudity. THEY'VE ALL GOT UNDERWEAR ON! Yeah, and I bet everyone rating this takes baths in their swim trunks. The only way there are naked people in your game is if you modded it to be that way, and that falls under the whole "the modding community is all about freedom of speech" thing.

Language?! Are you kidding? What's the worst they say? "[&@%!]!" "Hell!" honestly, if you can hear it on sitcoms it's obviously not that bad. (I admit I might be missing some, please correct me if I'm wrong but right now I can't think of any)

Sex is only mentioned very few times too, and not even directly.

People worldwide need to stop being so uptight about all these sorts of things. If your kid asks you about sex, just sit down and explain to him/her about the human reproductive system. If you don't make a big deal about this sort of thing, IT WON'T BECOME A BIG DEAL.

Thanks for listening to my rant,
Immortal

I agree Oblivion should be rated "T" I mean really the whole reason the rating system is there is to protect people from emotionally frightening images unless you are mentally retarded Oblivion is not in any way mentally Harming.

Mine is rated "T", or 16+ as it says on the box. But whats the difference between T and M? 16 and 18 years?
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

besides, you think any teen is going to be running around his house screaming "my ears are bleeding!!!" Because a game said hell? At 13 most teens are saying way worse things than hell.

lol -my ears are bleeding
Omg bad language.....

But mostly the reason that it was given mature i think its beacause of the stuning graphical nature and mission breefing.
Exc. remember this sentence ?: YOUR MOTHER BLED LIKE A PIG !
But still it should be teen.....

I love the way nothing's a big deal and you still manage to have the lowest crime rate in Europe. But that's actually because it's so flat you can see people coming from miles away. "Ah, he will mug me in a few hours..."
