Oblivion Mod Manager for Steam?

Hello everyone!

So I finally picked up Oblivion for the PC yesterday, and I'm having some trouble installing the Oblivion Mod Manager onto the copy of Oblivion I have on Steam. It keeps saying that it needs to be installed to the Oblivion Installation file, but C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\ appears to not work. I've also tried files inside of the Oblivion common files, just the common files, and changing the name of the new folder to multiple things. I'm probably missing something very easy, but I couldn't find anything about it when I searched the forum.

Previous stuff I said seemed to be a result of me uninstalling something improperly, disregard.

Brainwave: Did you say you were trying to change the name of the new file (folder)? If so, don't try to create a new folder. The install is to go directly to the oblivion folder, as in content of the install will be dumped right there. You are not meant to specify any new folder.

Yeah, I've tried that also. Still no luck. I'm getting extremely frustrated here, I really want to play modded Oblivion.

Wish Granted! I have no idea what happened, but I just did it over and over and finally it worked. The Mods for this game are awesome!
