Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Not that I looked very hard, but I didn't find any Fallout Roleplays. So, lets get one going.
For those who don't know about the Fallout world, let teh wiki explain.
On October 23, 2077, the United States, China, and other nuclear-armed countries bombarded each other with a rapid exchange of nuclear missiles and bombs lasting for only two hours. The destruction caused by the brief nuclear war was staggering; more energy was released in the early moments of the war than in all previous global conflicts combined. The Great War's outcome changed most of the planet into a radioactive wasteland. Those who did not die in the initial nuclear weapon exchanges lived in darkness or radioactive misery for decades as much of the Earth's plant and animal life died off from lack of food, sunlight and the persistently high levels of radiation. Yet, living in subterranean vaults or frozen in cryogenic chambers, humanity persevered. Most people outside the Vaults were killed by the nuclear blasts or the radiation, and many of those who were lucky (or unlucky) enough to survive, mutated. The first effects of radiation were seen in the survivors around 2080. Widespread mutations occurred in animals, plants and humans alike. Those that survived the effects of the mutations were permanently changed. New species were created almost overnight. Among them were the hideous human ghouls.
Two decades after the bombs dropped, the first Vaults started to open, and their inhabitants emerged to rebuild the destroyed civilization. The Core Region, corresponding to the American West Coast and Southwest, was one of the first areas of the post-atomic world in which significant interaction between different people emerged, about eighty years after the war in the mid-twenty-second century. Though many regions of the formerly-civilized world are slowly climbing back up towards civilization, humanity has a long way to go if it is to restore a sense of normality, even in the late twenty-third century.
Your Story:
You will start off on the post-apocalyptic streets of Dever, Colorado. This is Denver, a deserted city filled with feral dogs. From time to time, scavengers from the New California Republic and Slavers from Ceaser's Legion stop in to loot. Be wary, because these people may be hostile. Your goal is to make it to a civilized city or town before Winter, where all hopes of survival will be over. Good luck.
Since this is free roleplay, anyone can join and leave (As long as they use their own text colour), anything can be used as a weapon/armour/food or water (realistically), and your character can be anyone you want. (please try to stay true to the Fallout World, though)
Here's a Map, to help you find civilization
I will wait until I get 5 people to start the roleplay.
People playing:
The Raven
Biotechnic
Leyyuce
Spiney
Savilius
Sonixboom

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Name: Victor
Weapons: AK-103, 44. Magnum
Worn: US Army ACUS
Appearance:
-185cm tall, 68kg.
-Long, light brown hair.
-Average build, average looks.
Background:
Victor's ancestors came to the United States in 2043 from England. Because of this, he has a British accent, which sometimes makes him hard to understand. Victor met up with the others in a Super-Duper Mart on the edge of Denver, better known as Dog City.
Very sarcastic and cockney.
This good enough of a description?

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Great. About the character sheet, you don't need one specifically. You may develop your character as you go along. Also, you do not need to be restricted to normal Fallout weapons. You can use any weapon from today, or one you can think of. I don't want petty rules getting in the way of our fun.
...and diplomacy continues to fail. Their ears fall deaf, and their eyes fall blind, yet they are still not mute. They will not know their errors. Only what they believe themselves. But we... we shall not be silenced.

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Thanks, and if I could have everyone else choose a colour while we're at this stage, it would be great. Speech will be plain black, thoughts will be black, and your actions will be in your colour. Also, if you wouldn't mind, please list the code of your characters colour in your sheet. That'd make my life so much easier.

Great. All you need now is a colour. One that hasn't been taken, of course.

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Name: Aria van Hudling
Sex:Yes please Hembra
Weapons: Benelli Nova
Clothing: A slightly torn, bright blue dress shirt with rolled up sleeves, the bottom half of her shirt tied in a knot below the center of her breasts, exposing everything below her ribs. A pair of white short shorts. Her shirt is usually kept unbuttoned due to the heat, which makes her bra visible. Wears white running shoes.
Appearance:
-5 ft 10"
-Generally fair skinned, a slight tan
-Long, golden blond hair
-Green eyes
-Pretty, hourglass figure. Not too athletic, but she can get around.
Background: Came from a family that originated in New England during the 1980's. She speaks with a slight eastern accent. She's not a master of survival. She's just not stupid and knows how to avoid making idiotic moves that could result in death. She travelled with a group of wandering explorers whom she thought to be close friends until they deserted her during their stay in Denver, where she remains to this day.
Color: #FF40BF
Hope that's good enough. This is my first female character...so wish me luck!!!

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Enough with the off-topic-ness, please. I'd like this RP to continue.
I forgot my character...
Name:Collin McEnty
Weapons: Crossbow, Hunting Hatchet
Clothing: A hoodie and pants made from Yao Guai pelts, a worn ghillie suit on occasion.
Appearance: Medium length, tangled red hair,
-a short goatee,
-green eyes,
-Medium height, about 5'9"
-Heavy-set, but fit.
Bio: Grand mother and Grand father were some of the first people out of the vaults. As the world around them developed, they headed East from California to the Grand Canyon. Upon seeing the horror that is was, they left in a random direction, fearing for their lives that something would follow them from the darkened ravine. 3 weeks into their journey they spotted a glimmer in the bleak horizon. This was Denver. This is where Collin's father was born. Throughout his life, he learned to hunt and live off of what could be found on the desolate streets of Denver, while being able to carefully avoid the wild packs of dogs. He married Collin's mother, who was a trader from Ronto, after saving her from Ceaser's Legion, who had taken her as a slave. Collin was born two years after the marriage. He eventually learned how to trade, but never quite took up hunting. He is clumsy and loud, but is an extremely accurate shot with his crossbow, and knows how to use his Hatchet well. He is still living with his Mother and Father in Denver. He sees the group from his city-top home, and decides to check out the commotion.

Re: Welcome to Denver, kid. [Fallout RPG]
Anyways, i'd like to join, since i live in Denver right now, if its not too late to join. Here it is....
Name:Tim Mccorter
Weapon:Sniper Rifle, XT-4DK (sub machine gun)
Personality: Funny, yet very scientific, regarded as a lone wolf due to how quite he is.
Appearance: Short, Blonde hair, has heterochromia, his right eye is blue, while his left eye his yellow. He is VERY skinny. He wears a short sleeved vest from Yao Gui pelts, with it, pre war khaki shorts.
Bio: His family has lived in Denver ever since 1995, his parents were killed, making him fend off on his own, not much is known otherwise....

Terribly sorry, everybody, to withdraw my involvement before we even started, but I just revised my study schedule and it's quite dreadful, so I'm afraid I won't be able to play after all. Sorry
