Whats your favorite dungeon?
Well first, I'm new here, so HI! I've been reading the forums since i got the game and decided I hated the planes of Oblivion so I should seek some help, but after I got that out of the way I decided to start posting. So here I am!
I was just wondering, whats everyones favorite place to go dungeon diving? That place that you always get like 4 enchanted items... lots of monsters to level up on.. etc. Please share. Also, least favorite. That one dungeon you regret for ever stepping in it.
For me? Favorite: Nornalhorst, or Nornal. Nornal has more Varla stones, but Nornalhorst is a little less... time consuming and confusing.
Least Favorite: uhh... caves.

It's located between Leyawin and Bravil. Close to Border Watch and Water's Edge village.

I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

My favorite dungeon is Bleak Mine (The one near Drads Estate, in Malacaths quest).
I like it, cause all those guards jumped me at once and that was a rather hard and fun fight. I don't know if they respawn, I hope so, but if not I have that one-time top trip to a mine/cave.
However, all other aspects taken in consideration, the mine is rather dull.
My least likeable cave/dungeon/ruin is pretty much any Ayleid ruin with undeads. I always get lost on those high walkways, get sliced by traps, and when leaving, I have that feeling in the back of my head, that, at any corner and turn, I could get jumped by a Skeletion Champ that was just reawaked by a passing Necromancer. I know that dosen't happen, but still.. gives me the hibbie gibbies.

I came, I read, I wrote.

I don't have a favorite because I never found one I liked. I'm going to try out some of the ones you guys posted. But I do have one I don't like. I can't remember the name or even where it was but it was one zone witha few side rooms and contained bears, spriggans, mountain loins, and slaughterfish. Also it had no boss chest it was all minor loot.
i KNOW what you mean!!! i once shot an arrow at one in zoom mode and it should've hit his ribs but it didn't!!!!!!!!!Ts198 wrote:i really like sundercliff watch, its just massive and time consuming which i think is pretty fun,and yea i also hate ayelid ruins, to big and confusing, not to mention i think skeletons are the most ANNOYING things in the game to fight

THE best loot I've got was from dead Dremora I killed in Oblivion. Being a Dark Elf its really easy to get 100% fire resistance, which makes them easier, but Obl gates are still a pain in the arse compared to Robbers Glen and Greenmead Cave.
Robbers Glen cave is probably better due to the monsters always being imps, where as in Greenmead they're levelled.
Another good place, especially at low levels is Fort Nikel (West of IC, near Weye). It too has maraurders and bandits fighting each other and is really small for the amount of stuff you get. Also, on the outside part up above, opposite the statue is some non-random loot, including a fine steel bow, a ring worth a bit and some enchanted arrows.

Yesterday evening my dark elf accidentally stumbled on Fort Wooden Hand. It's a large place, part ordinary stone fort structure part cave. It's full of raiders and at lvl 12 they all had tons of dwemer armor on them. I had to run out and sell stuff three times. The fort is located deep in the Great Forest between Chorrol and Skingrad, a bit to the IC side. Nice.
