Re: Where is my adoring fan???
What? Do you really expect anyone to be able to help you find him? We aren't you, we can't tell you where you left him.
Regardless if you haven't checked all your houses then you should.

Re: Where is my adoring fan???
This problem perfectly demonstrates the value of making notes. If you don't, the game world is SO large and complex that you can very easily lose track of things.
A great way of making notes without wasting paper is to use Alchemy to create potions, where the potion name IS the note. Example: Potion Name = "Adoring Fan: Azura's Shrine", to tell yourself that you left him at Azura's Shrine. Carry the potion with you or designate a container in your home for Note potions and store it there. If you forget where you left Adoring Fan, READ the potion name to find out where he is! Once he's following you again, sell or drink the potion to get rid of it.
With a little thought, this simple in-game notemaking technique can be expanded to serve multiple purposes. E.g. Reminders, To Do notes, Quest notes, NPC locations (i.e. Trainers), labels to stand on top of containers, potion/poison recipes, notes about dungeons, houses, shops, etc. You can even bring some much-needed organisation to the game by designating containers as "databases" and filling them with "records", each record being a potion!
All potions you create are stored in your savegame, so will always be there when you next reload. If you're not going to play the game for a while, i.e. going on holiday or playing another game for a while, create some Reminder potions before you save and exit. When you next reload, simply read your Reminders and pick up EXACTLY where you left off regardless of how much time has gone by. Once you've re-familiarised yourself with what you were doing, sell or drink the potions to get rid of them.
You can do this on ANY version of Oblivion (PC, 360 or PS3), but it really shines on PC with the DarnifiedUI mod (due to smaller fonts meaning much longer potion names are readable in inventories).
Hope this helps.

i once lost him there, couldnt find where he was hiding in the arena lol.evenratman wrote:Maybe he's back at the arena.
At naming potions: nah.
I prefer to always know where things are, for some reason i've been fairly organised.
I know which drawer my equipment, soul gems, alchemy stuff, random notes which i thought were cool (like the troll note hinting on billy goat gruff reference)
My adoring fan is at the arena, chasing after me, or at my house
The other places to check are any caves you prefer using stealth in, as having fun luring opponents to you can be annoying.

He does respawn after 72 hours outside the arena if killed. Other than that, with the exception of old fashioned looking. Mine can't seem to leave deepscorn if that helps. been there lately?

Funny, I lost my Adoring Fan too.
A long time ago I used an invisibilty spell and stole an item from his inventory. The damn kid saw me and ran away. Never came back. . .
