Back To Writing-Need Names (ES)
As said, I am back writing and I am working on my Tamriel Under Siege again (I want to finish 1 of the 5 stories atleast!) but while the story so far is based in High Rock and [forgot castle], I need alot of different Breton names as they are the most common race (in these parts of my story), there are other races but since this is a native caslte (Wayrest! I remembered ^^) I need native names, or atleast a site that has a name generation perhaps?

Re: Back To Writing-Need Names (ES)
A trick for Breton surnames is by forming words with le/la/les/l' and then a French adjective. The start of the word will depend on the gender of the adjective. It helps if you speak French as well.
This can be seen in Oblivion with names like Lachance and Lapetite, and I think it's used in Daggerfall as well. You can also use this to show the personality of characters, based on the adjective used.

I'm not good at names but I'll suggest going into the Oblivion and Morrowind CS. Look up the names on the Breton NPC's and perhaps you might be inspired.

Like everyone said, use French names. Some common ones are Philip, Charles, Joan, Jean, Francois, Claire, Louis, Pierre ... Surnames: Monet, Capet, Lafayette(maybe), Labelle(maybe)...

Re: Back To Writing-Need Names (ES)
I know French names are best as the Bretons are actually based on the Franks, but I kind of struggle at learning other languages =D (can't do it then ok!) which is why instead of giving me an idea of 'how' to do it, I was hoping for ways of simply doing it easily
And ripping off tv shows?
yeah um, I'll get back to you on that. (don't expect a reply
)

If you want to save yourself a lot of bother,
Here is a male breton name generator,
and here is a female.
You could also just use them to give yourself an idea of how Breton names work, if you want to be completely original.
