Toy Story 3

Post by Drethelis »

Is better than Avatar, in my humble opinion.

Just saw it today, and was completely blown away. Toy Story (1) is my favorite movie of all time, I was practically raised on that film, and it is forever part of my childhood. The third installment in the series is an excellent addition to Pixar's long streak of fantastic animated films. The movie also features a wordless short movie (a trademark tradition in Pixar films) called "Night and Day", a short raising philosophical questions to achieving true happiness in life, as well as very entertaining to all age groups.

Great movie, everything was solid. It doesn't matter what age you are, you will love this film. I especially liked it because a good amount of the story involving Andy pertains to me, and it really hit home how emotionally driven this film was, despite the enormous decade-long gap since Toy Story 2.

I've still got about a month to wait for it.
Is it as good as all the other Pixar films, or did they mess up like Dreamworks with Shrek?

Yeah, but it was a little heavy (for a G movie) at the end.

I am going to watch this movie after watching the previous two movies of the same title. Watching movies like this makes me young again. =0)

I saw this movie a few days ago and I have to say it is my favorite movie this year. It really appealed me on a personal level, where Andy was in the same age group I was in all three of the movies.

I highly recommend those that have seen the first two movies to watch this, it is a great conclusion to the series.

If you haven't seen the first two movies then go ahead ad watch those :).

After watching Inception, I can no longer say Toy Story 3 is my favorite move of the year :(.

I will say that Inception is worth everyone's money and time - fantastic movie.

Blasphemy! Toy Story is the best movie trilogy of all time. Better than the Godfather and Star Wars combined.

I just saw it yesterday. It was pretty good, I guess, but not the best movie of the year.
FYI, I am Spy.

Saw it yesterday, it was pretty awesome. There were a few idiots behind me having a what sounded like a fit of laughing and crying at the end, but aside from that it was pretty good.

I really wanna see Inception though :D
