help! my arena wasted itself

hello all...

got a problem with arena: no matter which time i come, owyn says that the arena isn't ready, i should come between 9am and 9pm.

so i do come at that time and also tried waiting 24h in 1h steps but he alwas says the arena isnt ready.

im a brawler atm and my last fight was against the elven twins.

so anyone perhaps knows which variable i have to set for which questid to get rid of this problem? or, even better, can someone point me to where the open times of the arena are set, so i can fix it by making it open 24/7.

Never happened to me but i think the game bugs up alot because it bugged on me like that just with the thieves guild

This may sound like a silly question but are you going through the correct doors?
You need to speak to the Arena guy in the basement of the Arena first and then go up the ramp past the pool of blood to get into the arena.
It sounds like you're just trying to get into there through the twin doors on the outside.

He means that maybe the player placed a bet on an arena match, and then instead of going in to watch the match, went down to try and fight in the arena instead.

Okay thank you for your input......but unfortunately this also is yet another scenario of something I didn't do to make this annoying thing happen.....anybody else out there with a solution for me ?????????????

Tried getting out of the arena and waiting outside, maybe on the open-fields, sleeping, or making another quest the active one?

I once had the same problem (sort of) with the Argonian female mage from the MQ that asks you to come the next day after she's read the books of the Mythic Dawn. I waited, but she'd still say to come back the next day. So I just started side-questing for a while, when I came back, the dialog progressed.

If all else fails, load the previous saves.

Are you playing on a PC or Xbox? If your playing on a PC I would try to fool around the console. If your on the Xbox your only real option unfortunately, is reloading.

AFAIR this was something in the release notes of the patch - a bug in the game. The patch should have fixed it.

No, but thanks I've tried loading the previous saves, almost all the way back to the beginning of my game with no luck....f'n crappy pc games!!!
