What is your favorite race?

i didnt said that you cant make great orc or nord mage, but at the bigining nords and orcs have bonus points for combat skills

Anyway, I'm playing a stereotypical orc warrior now, using blunt over blade (which is new for me), and I like the orc. I'm not too sure if Im happy with how many diseases I get. My last character was a bosmer with 75% disease resistance. I also feel like he's taking too much damage right now, but its been a while since I played an all out warrior so I just need some practice.

argonians have 100% disease resistance and are good at stealth,but i prefer warrior.I think nords are better then orcs for several reasons:1.they have better bonuses 2.nords are prettyer then orcs 3.nords gets better spells at the begging.btw i found out it now

No, they don't.
And I think Nords are better than Orcs simply because they look better, but the best overall combat race is the Redguard, simply because of the flexibility of their combat style, and their no nonsense greater power.

sorry argonians have 100% poison resist and 75 % disease resist.On first lvl. nords' tuch is great spell.Can you have better spell at the biggining?

My Races have varied a lot since Oblivion came out, please mind that I don't have any of the Body/Face fixes yet so that may be why my Opinion is how it is. In Morrowind I loved the Redguard and Dunmer, I really miss the Woad tattoos that the Dark Elves could have. I'm usually a Warrior/Spellsword/Scout and those two races fit that very well, I also like how they look. Dunmer are basically just the Drow, and that's always been my Race. However come Oblivion it's hard to make a Redguard not look orange, and it also takes awhile to make a Dunmer not look like a pompus ass. So now I generally play as a Argonian, because I think they've improved come Oblivion, and Nords because they're a good all round warrior class kinda like the Redguard.

I dunno, I always find the ammount of Diseases in this game lacking, and seeing as you play Morrowind I figure you might know what I mean. If you weren't packing a back pack full of Remove Disease potions you were probly [&@%!].

Well to tell the truth it depends upon what kind of story I want to play, but if I had to pick two I'd say Imperial & Breton.

Funnily my Orcish Warrior is also a journeyman in illusion and a restoration and alchemy apprentice.

He isn't exactly Zuren Arctus but Starlight is excellent when you don't have a free hand for a torch.

Orcs make OK mages, they do have +5/+10 willpower bonuses (female/male), and are sturdy if you get in trouble. I'm trying to play one as a custom battlemage sort of deal anyway. He isn't annoying for magicka at all.

I've never really played as an Orc except from when I went through an extremely odd roleplaying phase and made a guy called Shrek.

Needless to say it didn't work out...

Nowadays Id have to say Argonians are my favourites. I like their background and personalities and the fact that they're humanoid
water-breathing, poison immune lizards.

The extremely annoying yet adorable bosmer for me I often use my wood elf accounts for sneaky, dark brotherhood-esque fighting while toting my favourite sword in oblivion

I always tend to go High Elf. For one they are kind of the Asian race it seems like (With the yellow tinted skin), and because 100+ Magika is helpful to any type of character. I know people will argue for Bretons in this case, but with High Elfs 100+ Magika, you can get a birthsign that increases stats, instead of the Mage birthsign w/ a Breton to reach that 100+ Magika. Getting the extra 10 Strength and Endurence from the Warrior sign>50% Magic resist IMO (Mundane Ring can solve that problem for High Elfs)

I choose imperial because they are the human base characters and they have a lot of potential. The +10 to mercantile and speechcraft helps the information gathering. On all other attributes they are about good with potential to be any kind of character.

Ohh, it was a close one between Breton and Bosmer... I chose Breton because I like using magic. But I have a Bosmer called Arrow and she's pretty awesome. I never used to like Wood Elfs but I like them now

Not my type of play style. I prefer magic and stealth (I love bows! ), most people probably do too

Breton is the absolute best! I may start trying to play as an imperial because although most their skill bonuses are combat skills, they have the most balanced attributes of the races.

P.S. I like all of the specializations on the game. That is why I say I like imperials.
