Balmora, Hlaalo Manor. The dead body can carry as much as you feel like dropping there.

I'd suggest using the Tower Birthsign to help you find stuff. Beggar's Nose - Detect Animal / Key / Enchantment for 60 secs in 200 is quite nice although the tower key is pretty useless.

Maybe take over the Morag Tong Guildhalls to use as your show areas or an Imperial Fort

Does the content of the game change any between the two systems any? I heard once that the Sixth House base, Korguruhn, is something entirely different on the PC version of the game. This true.

Take over gnisis. Use all the cave dwellings, that telvanni guys house, and all the other houses to display different things. A whole city devoted to your collection!

And use altertion, illusion, light armor, mysticism, hand to hand, marksman, security and sneak if course. And take ever sidequest and collect everything that you think looks good

In gnisis, you only have to really take over the cave dwellings and the telvanni stronghold/tower (whatever you want to call it). Having four DIFFERENT houses let's you display far more things before getting the overflow loot bag(which is a display addicts nightmare, trust me). It's really not as much as it seems, as the caves aren't THAT big. I love to display everything I collect and gnisis is, to me, the best.

And I only said marksmen for throwing stars and darts, an effective way to clear out a dungeon with out being seen and looting the heck out of it. But destruction or conjuration can be good too
