Re: Fleshcrave Island
What the heck. When it starts up, count me in. (My first RP ever!)
Is it okay if I make a character based loosely on my Morrowind character (within reason)?
Name: Voltha
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Race: Redgaurd
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Brown
Land hailed from: Hammerfell
Personality: Serious most of the time, but able to make a joke
Backstory: Born and raised in Hammerfell, got arrested (I was innocent!) and shipped to Morrowind. Came very close to becoming Nerevarine. Left Morrowind when he was 19. Immunity to the toxin on the island because of the Corprus part of becoming Nerevarine (sorry if that's a spoiler).
Armament: (All of the following items can be found in Morrowind GOTY) Dragonbone Cuirass, Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw, Daedric pauldrons and greaves, Ten Pace Boots, Fists of Randagulf (gauntlets), Eleidon’s Ward (sheild), Trueflame (sword).
If any of this is not okay, just let me know.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
All of that is good. Just remember that this RP isn't restricted to "You're not a super hero" rules. I think it's interesting that someone actually made a character that came from the events of Morrowind. On top of a good build, you picked a good time to join. I'll try to breath life back into this RP very soon.

I just found out the computers at school don't block this website. I have more free time than I thought.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
Umm...
Okay, this is my first roleplay, so sorry if I do something wrong.
This is my character:
Marina Vectus
Female Imperial, 20 years old
Skilled in the use of a blade and light armour, also has some ability with illusion magic. Is also quite knowledgable in repairing Dwemer technology. Uses speed and agility in combat, but can serve as a front line warrior in a pinch.
Born to a middle class Imperial mother and Nord father, Marina was often teased by the other children in Chorrol for her unusual parents and lower social standing. She ended up mixing with Dunmer and Khajiit, and learned a good deal about the arts of acrobatics and stealth from them. Her father, a former Legion scout, taught her the basics of old-fashioned swordplay, but Marina could never get to grips with heavy armour. After coming of age, she was deported to the island as a worker, due to the lack of mechanics needed in an old town like Chorrol.
She has a set of a leather cuirass, greaves and boots. She also has a set of Empire-sanctioned Nighteye goggles, for late night repairs. She is armed with an enchanted silver shortsword, a family heirloom capable of shock damage. She also carries a set of repair tools and limited food.
In combat, she is very specialised, as she prefers to dance around her opponent and hit them while they are unable to return the favour. She is very fast, a skilled acrobat and athlete, but she is not very durable and not suited for long fights. She is capable of stealth, though she is by no means an expert at it. She is a journeyman in illusion and is able to influence people, but never received any magic training, so she relies much on instinct. She does not know any other magic or any alchemy. She has never used a ranged weapon in her life, but knows how they work and how to fix them.
I based this character on my favourite Oblivion character. She will be able to bring her quick combat skills to help, and repair skills. However, she is mistrustful of strangers after her ordeals as a child, and may be difficult to ally with.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
This build looks solid. The whole ally thing will change real quick with where you're coming in at. Trying to be isolated won't work well with where we're at. If you're dead-set on it, just PM me about it and I'll work with you. So, we have two new "players" to add in once things get going again.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
Well, I was actually trying to make it sound like she'd ally with everyone, but she would prefer to work alone and be mistrustful at first. I'd be happy for her to join you, but she won't exactly be the most sociable person on Nirn.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
Name: Gerald (Jerry)
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Race: Nord
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 240lbs. (very muscular)
Hair color (body and head): Dirty blonde.
Eye color: Bright blue.
Land hailed from: Skyrim born, Cyrodiil raised.
Personality: A gentle giant of sorts, but still definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Backstory: Gerald was taken to Cyrodiil to find a better life with his whole family when he was only months old. Cyrodiil is where he was trained by his uncle from the raw age of 4 to be a hulking warrior, trained to be bigger, faster, and stronger than anyone out in the battlefield. He was wrongfully jailed when he accidentally killed two bar patrons in an act of self defense when he was only 17. Years later, after evidence that came to light that absolved him of his crime, he made a journey to Nirn, where he stowed away on a pirate ship set to sail to Fleshcrave Island, to seek a better life just like his family did when he was so young.
Armament: He'll usually use his fists to get what he needs, but he'll carry a big ol' tactical 12 Gauge shotgun on his back just in case.

OK, twas not a pirate ship, but I'll accept that. I'm currently in what one might consider to be a mid life crisis, so I can only be on for short spurts. As soon as I'm able, I will get this thing moving again.

Not to sound like an a$$hole, but it's actually come to a point where I'm angry that this is coming back to life. People post, forget about it for a few months, and then someone brings it back again.
Just let this die! Start a new one!

This hasn't actually come back yet. Trust me, you'll know when it does. Like I said before, I don't intend on letting my RP die.

I will never let it die! This is my creation; my precious!
Except my other thread is my precious so this one is just a precious.
Either way, It won't go away.

Re: Fleshcrave Island
Well, now I'm unsure about the future of this RP. I do still have events in mind, but life doesn't get any less busy and I find myself with even less time than before. I don't foresee having enough free time to host a RP any time soon, so unless anybody wants to take over, I guess this one's over. I remain hesitant about requesting a block, because there are users who really seem to like this RP *cough*oblivion4life*cough* but, as I said, I don't think I'll have time for it any time soon. Sorry about this.

Tell you what, I'll lock it up so it's all preserved and that, and then if someone wants to continue it then all they got to do is give me a PM.
