Re: Lore Trivia!
This one should be pretty easy.
I splish-splash along the water
I crawl I don''t hop
You think I'm something I might not be
The hardest part is I'm hard to see

Re: Lore Trivia!
Is it a mudcrab?
The "You think I'm something I might not be" part doesn't really fit Oblivion's mudcrabs, but it makes sense in Morrowind.

Re: Lore Trivia!
OK, I get the shot again, right?
A little bit more cryptic...
i will give you five who make one
1) a flower; for a Innocent maid in trouble deep
2) dark during day; for a Grim man whose days are the dark
3) one for three; Note where the three have two the one has one
4) an easel; for a Holy man destined to die
5) and an old scold; when the Expansion came
i'm a teacher, show your working and i'll steer you right...

Re: Lore Trivia!
OK, looks like I've been too obscure, so I'll give you a few hints:
1) We're focused on Oblivion for this one...
2) The first half of each riddle should give you a name...

hmmm, not very good with lore, but since your hint implied we are focused in Oblivion, that may help.edgukator wrote:

A couple of things I have thought of.
2-Blind Moth Priests? Or a specific one?
4-There are several easels I can think of off the top of my head. The one in Anvil Harbor, the one in Modreyn Oreyn's House, I think Chorrol Castle is the site where you do the hunt for the missing painting, then there is Rythe (the quest where you go into the painting). None of these make any sense to me with the idea of the Holy man.
5-I immediately think of the guard outside the doorway to the Isles, and Haskil.
My guess is that the five people we come up with will somehow connected to one person.

Re: Lore Trivia!
Nope on all counts...
3) Your closest idea, so start here. Think more metaphorically.
5) Wrong expansion...
They are five, but not 5 people.
each clue has two parts.
The first part is the name
The second part is the place you will find it

Re: Lore Trivia!
I think it is an object or a quest where you need to get 5 items which will be turned into one powerful object, probably an equip. and to get the 5 things you need to do what the 5 lines imply
I'm not arrogant. I'm insecure.

ok. although I didn't post anything for line 3...which line did you mean that I was close on?edgukator wrote:Nope on all counts...

So
5: I am pretty sure refers to the prophet in Anvil
4: Along the idea of thinking of KOTN, I now think of the Stain Glass Depiction of Umaril and Pelinal, can't remember where that is at the moment.
That's what I have now. I am in this mindset of the KOTN, so I am thinking that the "5 that make one" could be the armor of the crusader, but I don't know how. Its just brainstorming at this point.

Re: Lore Trivia!
So i was right? it's the armour of the crusader and the "5" are the pieces. You have to do quests to get all pieces
2-The boy who's sick is always in the chapel under croft
dunno about the others

maybe, it seems like it makes sense at any rateGeneralno1 wrote:So i was right? it's the armour of the crusader and the "5" are the pieces. You have to do quests to get all pieces

So if we say that 2 refers to the gauntlets of the crusader and Kellen, then what about the others?
I find it hard to think that 5 is really that easily the prophet, and if so, what relic is immediately gained from that?

Re: Lore Trivia!
Sorry guys. Wrong track...
think -
5 names...
5 locations...
think -
5 names...
5 locations...
Re: Lore Trivia!
Are the 5 names related to each other, or only to the accompanying location?
The format of the riddle is a bit confusing to me.
Anyway, the second part of 1: the only quest (or anything for that matter) I can think of that fits is that quest where you rescue Lord Rugdumph's daughter. Since the names aren't necessarily people I'm not sure about the flower.
I'll post about the other lines as soon as I think of them.

Your answer is wrong, but on a closer track...
Re: Lore Trivia!
Lets try again. So do the locations just indicate where you will find where the name is? Sorry if I sound like an idiot
2. People with "dark days": Arkved, Henantier (both are asleep), Vicente Valtiere, Count Hassildor (vampires), Moth Priests (blind).
5. Old scold: how about the old nag you buy when you don't have a horse to armor?

Re: Lore Trivia!
Complete your thoughts here...
You pretty much have all the pieces to put this together...
EDIT:
There are some other people with dark days... for a reason you haven't thought of yet...
EDIT 2:
The locations are linked to the name...

Re: Lore Trivia!
Like Melus Petilius?
Also, can you guide just a wee bit more? Specifically with the dark days?

Re: Lore Trivia!
Not like Melus Petilius, but closer to one of the other names you've already mentioned...
EDIT:
Sorry guys, I gotta head to bed...
You're very close, if you follow up on some of the ideas here.
Put it together and I'll check in the morning...
