It was ablsolutely brilliant, as always. Really funny and insightful. He's pretty much the only author I know of who is still as good more than 30 books into a series.

I hate it when people say they're going to end something, but then they don't.
It's not that he didn't end it, it just carried on a bit longer than he intended. Paolini originally planned for there to be only three books. However, when he realized how much more he had left to put into the story, he had to make it four books.

Too true dog whisperer. I just hate the wait for the fourth book to be released. What's taking him so long! I bet he's actually done with it and is just sitting on it just to see how far we, the fans, go before killing some one. :D

But seriously, this TV Tropes article describes the Inheritance cycle very well.

I don't own a copy of Inheritance book four yet, but if you want a sneak peak about it, there is a chapter from book four in the just recently released paper-backed version of Brisingr. I have read this chapter and didn't find it all that excited. Don't get me wrong, it was crucial to the main story for sure, it just wasn't Eragon kicking Murtagh's *ahem* like I had expected. If I was s'pposed to add a spoiler tag, I'm sorry for not doing so. However, I do have the excuse of that I don't know how to make a spoiler tag. So sorry to all those Eragon fans that accidentally learned too much 'cuz I'm not as learned in the stuff of this forum. Some help though won't be all that bad either.

Ya I know. But I still don't know know to use them. I didn't 'get' the lesson you were trying to make. But then zi looked up and saw the 'spoiler' tag amongst all the other stuff above the text portion of the screen.

He's sitting on it I tell ya! It is already finished and complete. He is just waiting to see how long we can wait till we form a mob and wring it out of him. Literally.
