Help with OOO,MMM, and FCOM

Post by Tatts4Life »

OK so I want to load these mods and looking through trying to figure out how to download and install the mods is giving me a headache. I'm using OBMM and when I load them into OBMM OOO shows a red square and the game won't even load. Has anybody used the three together and knows how to get things to work?

well I found a pretty active thread on Bethesda's forums and was able to get help from them. I got all the way tot he point of activating the mods and rebuilding a patch. When I went to test it out i get through the opening movie and the game crashes. I tried several things and just gave up. So I've deactivated the mods and I'm just gonna play the game the way I had it before. It really sucks I couldn't play since I spent so long trying to get this to work.

Well..
You know mods you trie to add in your game are not big mods they are in mater big numbers of mods.
So evri biger mod is combination of high numbers of mods, and mod you trie to add is is combination of BIG mods.
I sugest you start whit some lets sey mor simple mod menagment and then well trie for start whit OOO that will give you some exp.
And wen i say hig numbers of mod that mean posible conflict whit many other mods so you need read all information abouth mod
so you can escape frustration and returning in begining becouse something went rong.

Google this site : "TESIV:POSItive". This page has LOADS of info on setting up MMMforOOO or FCOM convergence. Make sure you read and re-read until you get it. If you can't wrap your head around it (and let's face it that's most of us that don't make mods) go over to bethesda forums where you will find the author of the site. There are also lots of other guides on the forum (50 step to fcom comes to mind).

It's not a point and click jobby. You WILL have to learn lots of new stuff but keep at it! Modded oblivion is awesome!

Remember READ READ and READ it again then ask when you don't get it! ;)

I actually found the Bethesda forums and that other site. I've been able to get a bunch of mods to work and the game looks nothing like the vanilla 360 version I have. I can't even play that one any more. I'll try and go back at some point and get OOO and MMM working but for right now I'm just having fun playing the game. Having a video tutorial would help me learn more visually then reading. That or i should just pay somebody to come do this for me LOL
