It's like Star Wars.

Ask a fan of the original trilogy what they think of the prequel trilogy, and most of them will tell you that it sucks. What they don't seem to understand is that it wasn't marketed at them! Lucas knew that he would get a load of original fans to come and see the Star Wars prequels regardless. The prequels were aimed at the new generation, the one that had to actually be pulled in and interested by it. Pokémon is the same. It's aimed at kids. They keep introducing new critters and regions in an attempt to keep it fresh for the veteran fans they know they have, but it's marketed at kids.

Well,i suppose i get it.New kids would be more interested in the new gen rather than Kanto.still annoys me though.oh well i guess that doesn't matter.i probably still won't play the new games though.I'd rather stick with the first three regions. The new regions and the revamped Pokemon center would just complicate things.but still, star wars stopped after the prequels.i just hope they stop here.it's been 5 regions already.

Black and White? Seriously? I guess they figured they ran out of precious stones/metals. Personally I think that an Element theme should be introduced. Pokemon Lithium and Pokemon Flourine, anyone? Not.

If they really wanted a good naming scheme, they would have used Ebony and Ivory.

Also, $100 says the third version will be Gray version.

When I click the link that says "Whack a hack's download page," it just takes me to the home page of some Spanish Pokémon community site.

Clicky the British flag on the top right corner, then :D

Or, just Google "Whack a Hack", click the first one, and click "Hacks" at the top bar. Quartz is on there, as well as a bunch of other decent to pretty good hacks.

Yeah, especially Plug-Oink... I'm actually a bit afraid to see what it evolves into...

Which starter did you pick the first time you played through it? I picked Aquegg, which has since evolved into an Ornaby.

What, the fact that it's not handheld, or the fact that your computer has issues running the emulator?

Meh. The handheld part.

Has anyone else had trouble with emulators running slowly for DS games?
