Spring Break!

Post by Drethelis »

For some, the week-long vacation known to high school/college students called Spring Break has begun! It may have already have passed for others, and for some it may not have started yet! If you are on Spring Break, post here of any cool things you plan on doing with your time. If you already had a Spring vacation, then you can tell us what happened during your time off. If your vacation doesn't start for another week or two, then post any plans you might have! And if you live somewhere (probably most of Europe) that doesn't have a Spring Break, but a similar school break around this time, or not even one at all, the tell us of some things you'd be doing!

Monday, I helped my father do a bunch of yard work, and played badminton with some friends later in the day. Tuesday (today), I didn't really do much most of the day sadly :( but my friend is gonna come to my house and were gonna play the newly released Splinter Cell Conviction co-op campaign. :)

Tomorrow, me and some friends are gonna go to Boca Grande beach and have some awesome fun. :D Thursday and Friday I'm probably going to spend cruising around town aimlessly in my friend's Ford Focus in a search for something to do without spending much money.

And for the weekend, Saturday I'll be at my hobby shop, Hobbytown USA, playing Warhammer most of the day, maybe see a movie that evening with a randomly selected group of friends, and Sunday I'll be chillaxin, and getting ready for my (un)glorious return to school.

:)

That last one is from your to do list. Just pointing it out. It's one of those ones that'll never get done so it doesnt really matter.

Mine was in early March. Just a week, although some of my relatives get two weeks. I'm quite jealous.

In my sweet homeland, after you have left school, there are no spring breaks. Childhood is over, and it's work, work, work from September to January and from January to June :D Well, not entirely work. Work and hanging around in Pizza Hut. And climbing roofs. And going to the movies. And playing Oblivion. And reading webcomics. And chatting in the net. I love this, being always busy. When I was at school I used to stare at the ceiling quite a lot, break or no break.
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.

Getting offtopic is wonderful.

So on my way to the beach yesterday my friend decided "Hey! I'm going to try and make a ridiculously sharp turn!" and he wrecked his car. With me in the passenger seat. Luckily, we both came out scratch-less. But it shot my day to hell. And that sucked.
