Funny/interesting pictures, events and stories

Post by Josjie »

You can post all your funny pictures, events and situations in this thread. Drethelis started with all this and created these two topics: Armand Christophe vs. Cheese and Glarthir's Worst Nightmare.

So instead of creating new topics, you can now post your images here ;).

Oh and remember the rules :D

Posting of Images

Please just post the link to the picture instead. This will help the the site to load faster for everyone, especially for users without a high-speed internet connection.
Exception: sticky topics. You are allowed to post images in sticky topics like "Post your character" with a maximum height of 800 pixels and a maximum width of 600 pixels.

Try to use thumbnails ;).

I'll start:

Rosentia Gallenus is afraid of scamps. So I decided to start a little scamp invasion in her house. I think there are 50-60 scamps in total :D. They were also on the upper floor (attacking me).

My Oblivion hates screenies so I will just call the situation.

I went city-to-city collecting guards and bounties, took them to the gold coast, and tested a new nuke spell on them.....

I spent the next four hours searching for the bodies. :D

Why do I have this strange sensation of being undermined?

That was a joke, by the way.

But thanks for the thread, I had a feeling in the pit of me stomach that the feds mods would get annoyed with me posting a new topic every time I thought up a less-than-brilliant-but-still-pretty-cool scheme.

Haha well some other also wanted to create new threads (including me :P) so that's why I created this topic.

You can also use this topic to share your stories/events.

And what do you think of my Gallenus joke?

Haha what kind of nuke spell? Are you using a mod for that?

I was hanging around Anvil stables, on my way to do a contract for Azzan, when I saw that person - I kinda think she was a woman, but I am not that sure - riding a black horse - correction, not just riding, galloping as hard as the poor beast could stand. I decided to follow her - just out of idle interest. I enjoyed a pretty wild chase as far as Brina Cross Inn, then the lady turns back and rushes off to the stables. I follow her, intrigued. At the stables she wheels around and rides off to the inn again. We did this routine over several times, till I got fed up, but I just couldn't manage to start a conversation with her. Any ideas as to who in Azura's name this... uhm brainless horsewoman might be? And one more thing :D Each time I chased her, we both rode past a Khajiit Highwayman. I can imagine what he might have thought about us if it had been in real life LOL

Yeah chasing her can be fun :D. Especially if you're on foot (Fortify Speed spells/potions :P). But you have a lot of patience if you chased her for so long, haha :D.

It was pretty funny actually. But pure evil :Twisted Evil: At least in mine I never physically hurt anyone (Glarthir's mental health remains questionable though...)

I'm surprised that your comp could handle that many AIs in combat at once! But then again, from what I understand about the dynamics of Oblivion, NPCs take up a lot more processing room than creatures, although I may be wrong. But still 60 scamps all in one room fighting is impressive.

By the way, my FPS when I took the pics for Armand vs. Cheese was like 1 or 2, pretty slow. :D

F-F-F-Frame rate?

Also, expect a few callipers soon. Actually, expect a lot. I've been doing a M'Aiq impression.

My FPS was quite low. Average FPS of 10-15 :D.

Well, I was on an armored white horse, so I just couldn't catch up with her... And I so wanted to have a bit of small talk...

So I was doing the Master's Son quest in the Fighter's Guild and for no apparent reason, Viranus Donton decided that it is a smart idea to attack a cave full of trolls and ogres without wearing anything above his waist, because it feels good.

I'm running out of good ideas, but expect a really good one later tonight (I'm EST/GMT -05:00).

Heh, the same thing happened in my game :D I think I even wrote about it in the "funny glitches" thread. A community member called Invictus told me that this is somehow connected with an essential NPC being knocked unconscious. I also have a pic of that guard fellow from Kvatch - can't recall his name - without his pants on in the "Photographers Guild" thread

Drethelis when can we expect some new pictures by you? For example: you know that guy in the Shivering Isles who's afraid that something will fall on top of him? Use the duplication glitch to let it rain books (or a different object) on his head :P.

This is how you complete the "Whodunit" quest, people!

Wabbajack:
1330 gold
Staff of the Everscamp:
0 gold
Invisibility Potion:
56 gold
Watching five guests flattened by rampaging monsters:
Priceless

Fire-breathing Daedroth— I choose you!

Hah! You'll never take me down!

Oh, noes!!!
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Hrm what shall I do with this topic :P

I can:
- Do nothing
- Delete/lock it
- Change the subject and also allow (roleplay) stories/ Oblivion stories

What do you think?

Recently I got sucked into the inevitable worm whole known as Fallout 3, so I've spent most of my free time feeding that addiction.

But fear not! I will eventually post something new which will ensure lulz for all, and maybe I'll get a cameo appearance from our favorite claustrophobic Mania resident. :D
