Armand Christophe vs. Cheese

Post by Drethelis »

As carrying over from a discussion in the topic, "Cheese for Everyone!", I claimed that I would fill the entire square size of Armand Christophe's house with cheese. Well, things didn't turn out as planned. I had placed thousands upon thousands of cheese wedges, my computer processor was spinning at 2000 RPMs, my motherboard was producing smoke, and my Nvidia 8400 GT was on fire. Well, not really, but that sums up how my computer was behaving. Basically, I think if I exceeded the 15,000 or so cheese wedges already there, my comp would have exploded. Lag was very much present inside of Armand's small little shack. Still, I think I adequately pranked him for all those, "I don't like the look of you, keep moving"'s. I managed to snag a few screen shots too, for your viewing pleasure.

Here is me from his ceiling looking down, I'm on the right, and Armand is sleeping on the left, partially covered in cheese. Take notice to the right of the arrow pointing at Armand, there is cheese stuffed in the bookshelves.

Another shot of the lulz, this time better showing how high the cheese actually went up from the floor. I'd reckon, at least 4 feet high.

And also, I think it would be a kind gesture, in case he ever runs out of cheese, to leave him with over 9000 wedges of cheese in his chest, just so that if he ever misplaces his other cheese wedges, he'll know where to look for a quick dairy snack.

He'll think twice before he takes Sheogorath for granted next time. :D

+1000 respect points.

That made my day :D. Awesome, really. I haven't seen anything like this in four years on this forum. I'm gonna try that as well but on a different NPC and I'm not going to use cheese. I'll think of something.

Keep it up! What's next, filling the entire Imperial City with cheese? You should turn this into a mod :P.

Great! Now I have like... 1001 respect points!

I'm pretty sure that filling the IC would cheese would cause my computer to go into nuclear meltdown, it struggled to do just one room after all :D

That sounds like a pretty cool idea, but AI encumber a LOT more processing information than a wedge of cheese. And plus, I've tested it, Oblivion's game engine can only program a few AI at a time to be in combat. I pitted this uber atronach-like creature against about 50 NPCs in a test world, and only like 15 of them were attacking, the others aimlessly standing around. Once one would die, another would become suddenly alert of the danger and begin attacking. The atronach went through all 50 with relative ease.

But if you can pull it off somehow I'd love to see it :D

And now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to plot my next mischievous schemes...

Tove the Unrestful would like calipers and tongs. LOTS of calipers and tongs.

By the way, what would happen if you launched a Fireball spell in the middle of Armand's cheese stash? ;)

That's awesome.

As for your mega-combat scenario, I've hit that too. I was outside Bruma when I got attacked by some ridiculously huge Oscuro monster. I ran into town, but I went through the caverns to get there, so the monster followed, and killed quite a few people while I hid at the gate and prayed he didn't attack me. The town of Bruma, collectively, eventually won, but he took out a lot of people. I think I looted like 20 guard uniforms.

Or Sheogorath's throne room? (and replace the calipers with soul gems).
You could dump thousands of calipers on Maiq's head.

Or maybe take those body parts from Dive Rock and dupe them...Fill somebody's storage area with all the copies. You want freak-out, there's nothing quite like going to your cellar and looking in your boxes for some food, only to find out all your food's been replaced by corpse-in-a-box.

Corpse-in-a-box! From the makers of jack-in-the-box! What? They've gone into a bit of an 'emo' phase...

Okay, I have my next conniving plan. But I'm not telling what it is, because I'm paranoid someone might do it before I get around to it.

I should have it up later today :D

I'm going to try this with STRAWBERRIES.

And then spend days picking them back up.

Whoa, now I know what Sheogorath meant when he said. 'Cheese for no one. I suppose that can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese, true?'

Well at least you found a use for cheese. Don't care for it myself. Thanks for the laugh!
