When I was at high school, I used to amuse myself by making what I called "song lists". In one column, I wrote the names or the some lines of some altogether random songs that came into my mind, and in the other column I wrote the names of some well-known and well-loved fictional characters - say, from "Harry Potter" or "LOTR" - that could have sung these songs. For example: "Frodo and Sam (in Mordor) - We've got 4 minutes to save the world". I figured it would be fun to make the same lists for Oblivion characters, like "Henantier - I dreamt I was missing...", or "Varon Vamori - I'm in love with a sociopath", or "The Adoring Fan (to the PC) - You are my sunshine, my only sunshine"... Perhaps my examples are a bit unclear, 'cos I don't know THAT many songs in English. But I would be glad if someone got my idea and picked up this thread. You just think of an NPC and then find a song that can match his/her character and feelings, or would have sounded humorously if performed by him/her. It is always better to give the most suitable line(s), and not just the name of the song. Good luck!

Take your pick; I'd say either Mehrunes Dagon (for the Mythic Dawn and the way he keeps a good grip on them/the way they worship him) or Mannimarco. Same reasons for Mannimarco, just apply them to the Necromancer cult, The Order of the Black Worm. They both keep their sheep in line quite well.

I'll see if I can't think up some more later. At the moment, I'm coming up blank on any other NPCs.

I always thought it is rather suitable for Farwil Indarys. Once, when I was playing as a strong-and-silent Orc Crusader, I somehow managed to get that stuck-up youngster out of the Oblivion Gate, and in the process my role-playing nature showed itself and I thought up a whole fanfic about the two of them, the Orc grudgingly teaching Farwil to become a real knight. As I have already said, most songs I know are soundtracks from the movies I've watched in English to improve my listening skill.
