Your favorite NPC
Your favorite NPC
Tell me who your favorite NPC is and why.
And tell me who you think has the coolest background and/or history.
My favorites are J'Ghasta, cos he is calm and collected, and he lives secretly in Bruma as a member of the Black Hand, and he is awesome how he only fights with his fists, and doesn't wear armor, and doesn't call the guards, and is a member of one of my favorite factions, The Ancestor Moth Cult.
And i think the NPC with the most interesting story is Mathieu Bellamont and Relmyna Verenim, and there are others i cant think of right now.

Re: Your favorite NPC
My favorite character today (not counting Sheogorath, for obvious reasons...) would be City-Swimmer. I don't know why, she/he is just my favorite character lol. Anyone who speaks third person and thinks its normal is alright in my book
Oh yeah, and S'jirra! I took this from the wiki page:
S'jirra really seems to enjoy her stay at the Faregyl. She wakes up at 6am and spends the next five hours wandering around the Inn, talking with the other two residents, Abhuki and Alix Lencolia. At 11am, she finds a table in the back of the room and eats her lunch there for three hours. At 2pm, she exchanges the table for the bar, and sits there drinking mead for eight hours straight, then wanders the inn for two more hours before going up to her room to sleep at midnight.
And of course her talking about her potatoes as if they are children.. She's just great.
Most interesting past? (Aside from Sheogorath...) RUFIO!!! Or Alix Lencolia... I wonder how he became such a Bad-A Swordsman

Re: Your favorite NPC
Sontaire, over in Bliss, New Sheoth. Ya know, I've really got to track down a copy of the GotY edition and play through the Shivering Isles, so I can see what all the fuss is about (I just have the regular version for PS3).Redguard_Master wrote:Oh what's her name, the nympho book store owner is new sheoth.
As for one of my favorite NPCs... S'krivva, oddly enough. After dealing with Armand Cristophe through the early part of the Thieves Guild questline, who always comes across rather nasty to me, S'krivva was actually fairly pleasant. She even compliments you, in her own Khajiit way.
I could probably come up with a whole list of favorite NPCs, but she's the only one that really comes to mind right now.
[EDIT]:
Doesn't it seem almost odd that the master trainers for Blunt and Blade are both Bretons? A school of magic, I wouldn't have given it a second thought. But weapons? Color me a tad surprised.hollywoodb1 wrote:Most interesting past? (Aside from Sheogorath...) RUFIO!!! Or Alix Lencolia... I wonder how he became such a Bad-A Swordsman
Perhaps our friend, Alix Lencolia, got his skills the same way Irene Metrick got hers, and he's just trying to up keep the facade of a goody-goody to hide away from past deeds.

I like Alix Lencolia, because he's the only other Breton swordsman of note in the game, apart from me.

Re: Your favorite NPC
According to the wiki article on her, yes. I can't say I've seen it; don't have the Shivering Isles. I have a hell of a time finding any PS3 games around here; the Gamestops (only gaming stores around here of any note) all have these dinky little PS3 sections, both used and new. They carry more PS2 games than PS3.Tom10320 wrote:I like Alix Lencolia, because he's the only other Breton swordsman of note in the game, apart from me.

I quite like Meredeth
And also Cutter from Shivering Isles. She's emo enough for me.
Oops, I mean Methredhel.

Re: Your favorite NPC
Yeah, Sontaire is a sado-masochistic nymphomaniac, which I assume is why she was admitted into the Isles, because she doesn't have any other serious 'quirks' aside from that. For those of you that don't know, the simple explanation for her condition is that:
1) She wants to sleep with quite literally everyone, and
2) She gets her, *ahem* 'thrills,' from both torturing and being tortured by whoever she happens to have in her bedroom that night.
Anyway, aside form the Prince of Madness, my favourite NPC would have to be Janus Hassildor. I know he's technically undead, and at times he comes off as hot-headed, but he still seems the nicest out of all the Counts/Countesses; most, if not all, of the others are far too arrogant for my liking. It also amuses me how even though he's a vampire, he has quite a bit of class.
The most attractive, I think, would either be Dar-Ma or S'Krivva.
And as for backgrounds, I think Martin has the most interesting.

Re: Your favorite NPC
Favorite NPC; either Aldos Othran or Glarthir. They're both have such amusing character, with their psychological dysfunctions of many a cause, and the fact that I would happily go drinking with either of them. They're so chill. Except when Glarthir's paranoia kicks in...
Most attractive? Probably Alga.

Re: Your favorite NPC
I have so many favourites.
I think everyone loves Maiq, and I love S'drassa and Amusei. I think it's because they're so cute. Deeh the Scalliwag is my favourite beggar, though I like Puny Ancus, haha.
I also like Lucien Lachance, Janus Hassildor and Glarthir.
I have to say I find Velwyn Benirus strangely attractive. I think its the ponytail and Imperial face lol. I think when Hieronymus gets reassigned to Anvil he looks more attractive.
Sheogorath never fails to make me laugh and I love his accent.
And Martin's voiced by Sean Bean; what's not to like?
