Well, after a certain pair of most eerily polite moderators (not that I plan on mentioning any names anywhere in this post ) redirected me to this thread to make notice of my glorious return, I decided to take them up on their offer, or rather, conform to norm, if you will.

Helllooo! I'm Drethelis and I used to be a fairly large (for which read, 'I made a few posts here and some people liked me') user of this forum several months back, and now I'm here and I'd like to jump back in the community here, as I remember it being peaceful and lively. The few days I've been back so far, I've noticed this community runs very fluidly compared to what I remember, so I'm ever so glad to see that the gang here is as sociable as ever. So the message I compel to you is, I'm glad to be back and I hope the community will embrace me as much as I plan on embracing it and involving me with as many activities and discussions as my free time permits!

So for those who don't know me, which I'm more than sure is most of you, here's a few fun facts about me!

• -I'm rather quirky, which could lead one to believe I like quirky jokes.
  -Since I'm sure your all dying to know and too lazy to Google it, my signature comes from a narrated part of German Speed/Power Metal Band "Blind Guardian"'s "Nightfall in Middle-Earth" album, which is a concept album of the Tolkien book, The Similiarion.
  -When I verbally speak, I tend to gradually accelerate my rate of speech, and since, as a writer myself, I try to emulate as much of my natural verbal speech into written language, imagine it being read as starting of at a normal rate, but slowly getting faster.
  -As previously stated above, I am an amateur writer, who will be attending college this fall for a major in Music Business and a minor in Professional Writing.
  -I like Oblivion Role plays, but I am for the most part indiscriminate towards role plays in general. So if you have a role play which you need an extra character, which I already haven't applied, send me a message and I will czech out your role play and happily join.
  -In TES IV, I prefer Wood Elves, (Bosmer, if you prefer) because of their metabolically high energy, which they can some how keep under control and channel into their cunning skills.
  -I'm a pretty cool guy who doesn't afraid of anything.
  -I like socializing intelligently, and due to the fact I go to a school which is located in the middle of, ahem, 'Radneck Countrie', I am almost entirely robbed of such pleasure.
  -And I am a very musical person who loves all music in general, but has a high preference for Power Metal bands, such as Demons & Wizards, Hammerfall, and Rhapsody of Fire, to name a few. Czech em out if you've never heard of em, cause you never know; you might fall in love with them

Ever since I returned, I have felt distant from these forums. I have the respect of, at a guess, three people, or at least that's what it feels like. This is for real. I apparently rule with an iron fist when I'm just doing my job. I apparently over-react when I happen to merely have self-esteem issues, I am apparently both "not mature enough" and "not as qualified for the job as we thought". I am a veritable antichrist, it seems, though if Christ was the forums. I find myself thinking "I [&@%!] hate this person" when they make a spelling mistake and I don't even know who they are. Yes, with the swearing. Not even psuedo-swearing. Now to conclude, a series of meaningless quotations from songs I like that had a purpose and then turned into a random assortation of junk.

I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I know I will. I've always thought of you as someone who had the respect of a lot of people. They may not say it, and I think you're over-reacting to some jokes people may or may not say. Maybe I don't know all the details. However, leaving the forum won't change a damn thing. I seriously plead to you to rethink what you've posted.

I didn't think I did. However, once again, leaving the forums in some long, dramatic post isn't going to get you the respect you want from those people. Maybe they just don't like you. I know I'm not someone who's been here for long, and I'm not normally one to raise my voice about things, but I honestly think this could be solved in a much more productive way, which includes neither you nor anyone else leaving.

I have a sinking pit of guilt in my stomach. I know that you called me out in your post, and I feel partially responsible for the feeling you have of a general lack of respect from us. I guess I went a bit to far, and assumed that you were a bit more thick skinned than you are. I, for one, would like to apologize. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we really value your prescence here. I can say that I personally will make an effort to show it. You really are a bright spot in these forums, and, frankly, oftentimes my day.
I would, once again, like to apologize for having offended you. I was out of line making public comments in that fashion, I should have PMd you, and I now regret my personal disrespect. I would really like for you to reconsider your decision to leave.
