All-in-one Basement? Where is it?
I installed this mod and for some reason the basement refuses to transpire. Does it not work on already owned houses? If that's the problem I have a recent save just before acquiring the Anvil Manor so that's OK. But, if it requires a complete restart it looks like I'm SOL. Anyone have any idea?
I've messed around with map mods some, including houses, and adding doors and stuff should work immediately, regardless of whether you own the house or not. If it's not working for some reason, you can actually make your own universal basement. There's a pretty good tutorial at morrowind-oblivion dot com that explains how to use the construction set - probably the trickiest part is creating a new cell with the right settings and linking the doors.
The easiest way to do it by far would be to put one door in the universal basement for each house, but that would mean that you could access houses before you owned them. Still, it's not that hard to figure out over the course of an afternoon or so. And then you have a basement that's exactly suited to how you would want it.
I'd offer to make you a basement myself, even, but after tomorrow night I'm not going to have access to my computer until the 2nd week of July at the earliest.

I made a basement to the Chorrol house. I can mail it to you if you are interested.
The door to the basment is placed outside the house for practical reasons. You then climbs down a ladder and follows an underground path to the main room in the cellar. The main room is made of some castle (dont remeber which), so you will have a large place with lots of storage place. Made it basically for my own use, so I haven't uploaded it anywhere. But if it sounds interesting, let me know
