Problems with Fighters Stronghold DLC

Post by The Raven »

When I press the .exe file, it asks me if I want to uninstall it. Sure thing. It finishes, and tells me that it has successfully uninstalled Fighters Stronghold.
Fine enough, I think.

BUT! When I press the .exe file again, it asks me to uninstall it. AGAIN.
No matter how many times I press the .exe file, it asks me to uninstall it.

The files are not in the \Oblivion\Data , because I manually deleted the \Data folder, because I wanted to get rid of mods(and a fresh reinstall)

Can I get some help, please?
Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that

Yup. Tried that.
It told me to uninstall. "Uninstalled", but it's still there. With the "want to uninstall?" too.

I get this problem too. Is there a solution? I checked on the 'fficial FAQ, but didn't have anything.

(also, my copy of the DLC is...well...pirated)

1. This thread is like 5 months old, which counts as necro-posting.

2. No one on here is allowed to talk about pirated stuff, because it illegal and downright out of order to think pirating is all right.

1. And? The previous user didn't get his problem solved. Just continuing his/her topic.

2. I never said it was alright. I just said that my copy of the DLC was pirated, just in case it could be the problem.

As long as it isn't pointless, this is easier than opening a new thread.
if you have the same trouble, have you tried deleting it?
and try reinstalling

I've tried deleting the .exe file.
I've tried reinstalling Oblivion
I've tried pretty much everything D:

I can't find any files related to the DLC at all. It's just that it wont un-install at all. But, it's not installed?
It's weird.

When I uninstall Oblivion, I usually delete whole Data folder first. Then Oblivion uninstaller can handle the rest.

also, it automatically deletes all OB files when it uninstalls.
