A list of things to do when your invisible

Post by chaos1001 »

Well partially as some of you already know by former posts im playing 50% constantly invislbe with the soultrap glitch and a 50% chamelon spell and i figured instead of reposting new things i find in old threads i'd just make a list of things i've found so far starting first with two of the funniest things

1. you know that being invislbe makes people run away from you when you attack them well its even funnier watching vivic and dagoth ur run away from you like scared little kids

2.being invisible and having a supior bootsted personality mean you can talk to just about anybody who has somethign to say that included most the dagoths in Kogoruhn most of who will repair damaged weapens and armor and sell 6th house amulets.

3.there is one possible downside to being invislbe if say you want to become a vampire because they wont attack you on sight and attacking them just makes them run away my solution a very high speech craft skill and taunt them and it might take quite a while to taunt them even if you get success everytime

4.being invisible makes for two great things you can stand infront of a person hold the sneak button forever and increase your sneak skill greatly because ha they cant see you also no more having to worry about sneaking to open chest or steal anythign just walk right in pick something up and be on your way

thats all for now i'll edit this post if i find anythgin else

It always annoyed me to get attacked by cliff racers and other creatures in the wilderness. I hated walking through the wilderness because of that. That's why I enchanted an amulet with a constant invisibility effect. It made life a lot easier. Of course, you always have to reequip it after everything you do, though.

cliff racers are truly the most annoying monster in the entire game and being able to walk right underneath them is so great

I have just checked my dead cliff racer count, and it is only 260 with the best character - I am surprised, it feels as though I have killed a lot more.

When you're invisible, no one can see you streaking up Red Mountain. That sort of ruins the fun.

Who would see you if you were visible?

IT"S FREAKIN AWESOME!
For the first time, I could get about two inches from a Cliff Racer, and still not be attacked.

Personally I just use an uber Levitation spell to avoid Cliff Racers; they're restricted ascending to a certain point, after which they can't go any higher but you can (not sure if you're eventually stopped or if it just keeps going an going...). The Shrine of Daring Levitation spell (100 for one day) is great to use for that. Nothing quite beats walking above a carpet of angry Cliff Racers. ^_^ 'course, going down tends to be interesting. o_O

Mmm, Chameleon is a grand thing to have when exploring the Sixth Cult dens, bypassing the Corpus Stalkers and chatting with the locals. I sometimes think they're the only people who are on my wavelength in all of Tamriel. Or selling the sacred artefacts to Torasa Aram in Godsreach and then stealing them all back. Lots of money and lots of power. Why not exploit people? :D
98% of forumers say fast travel ruins Oblivion. Put this in your signature if you're one of the 2% who realize it's optional.

Not really, Invisible loses the intesity of being caught, because when you invisible, you can stare into the face of an enemy and nothing happens

Not if you're a newb, because when you do anything besides walking you become visible.
