Luchien lechance came to me in the dark brotherhood initiation. I then picked RUMOUR an he said:
"There's been some terrible trouble in the Chapel of Anvil. All the Dibella priest and priestess are murdered", as if he never did an assasination before *LOL*

I make a different data save before he came to me so I could listen him saying random KNIGHTS of NINE rumours. "Have you heard about the man who seek the Crusader Relic, Sir Roderic...." " Anvil is on uproar....."

I've had Imperial Legion patrols interfere in the Anvil recommendation quest before, on either side, but the last time I did it, there was a patrol AND an Oblivion gate right near the area where Caminalda attacks you. I don't know how long they'd been fighting before I got there, but when I did, all I could find was Caminalda and a couple of Daedra duking it out, as well as a dead Imperial Legion horse. Really weird.

That dead horse is added when the Oblivion Gate opens, but it's still possible a Legion patrol interfered.

Usually when I do that quest, there is an Imperial troop up there. And once or twice there has been an open gate. So then there's me, the Battlemages, the soldier, scamps from the gate, and scamps summoned on both sides.

Not so much a glitch, but an odd random happening. When I had my 360 and was playing Oblivion on it, outside of Bruma I found a doe rooting in the ground. Apparently the game had "stuck" as I could approach the deer and it wouldn't run, and was stuck rooting in the ground. After about 20 seconds, no joke, a female redguard bandit and a male khajiit bandit come from out of nowhere and begin attacking me, the whole while this deer is still eating. After killing the bandits, 10 seconds or so go by and from out of nowhere comes an arrow and hits the deer. Deer takes off running, and some guy is running behind it shooting arrows. So I chased and cast a spell which finally hit him, and I hear "Hey I'm on your side". My first experience with an Imperial Forrester. The bounty from killing him was worth it.

ok i got three, i killed a goblin shaman and it staff just stood up perfectly balanced because i ran into it and it fell down. ok here second,i randomly felt like going around killing every body in bruma and so when i got to the countess and i got her running at me and i shot her in the face with a bow and of course she became unconscious and she went sliding extremely fast.last one, i went to bleakers way a long time after you do that daedric shrine quest for it and all the people who got killed there were still dead but were standing up perfectly straight and there arms and stretched out so naturally i slashed at one them and they all fell down, it was really weird.

That actually is quite explainable, the game didn't properly load the cell correctly and doesn't set the position of their bodies. Without that they appear in the default, a cross/T shape. That was the same for good ol' Morrowind.

Once I traveled into Bravil wearing my Gray Cowl and rushed over to my house quickly. It's a routine that I have to always fast travel to Castle Bravil, then jump from the bridge and into the pond below to avoid being captured by the guards. Then, I swim up to my house, go inside, unload the items that I have found, and remove my Grey Fox helmet. Well, I did this routine as usual one day, and then I went to sleep in my room to level up. When I awoke, I got up and walked over to my front door to see a guard in my house. I suppose he had followed me to my house when I had the Gray Fox helmet on and had gone inside, but since I was sleeping he just stood there and waited. Anyway, he looked at me and said something like "Good day, sir." Then, he walked into my bedroom, changed into his skivvies, and went to sleep in my bed. I though this was quite funny, so I watched him sleep for a little bit wondering how that had happened. I then chose to wait an hour using the wait menu, and when the 1 hour wait was over and the screen faded back in, the guard simply got up, got changed back into his regular clothes, then walked to my front door and left. It might not even be a glitch, but I found it to be quite funny.

That always happends to me too with chars who cant die. The often slide up to 10 feet away

Not really a bug as such, but just starting and at level 16, have a dwarven battleaxe with 20pts shock damage on it. And love the ways it sends monsters flying through the air when I slay them.

Annoyingly, though, I can;t complete the fighter's guild quests because I picked up Blackheart's ring and didn't give it to Oreyn straight away. Can do any more missions. Quite narked as I'm playing a fighter and no old saves. But having fun fighting goblins and Daedra anyway.

The bug that makes me laugh is when I Kill a dear it sometimes stretch to like a 100 feet long. It's quite goofy looking.

Living in Skingrad & having recently installed MD Saddlebags mod, I've taken to visiting Grateful Pass Stables quite often to empty my saddlebags in stages. I've noticed a Ram (male Sheep) that often runs up to the city gate and stands there as if waiting to be let in by the Guards, who just stare at it.

Last night, I left my horse close to the gate (at 90 degrees to it) to make it easier to empty my saddlebags. The Ram ran up and, of course, collided with my horse which was in its path. Instead of going around, the Ram kept running and, after a few seconds, ran UNDER my horse through the gap between forelegs and back legs! It was like watching a Circus trick!

I guess there's someone who didn't read the prospectus before joining the club.

Likewise the necromancer telling her fellow necro' that she "can't stand zombies, disgusting creatures" - wonder if anyone ever told her that she might have chosen the wrong line of work?

I think the strangest glitch I've had happen to me yet was Glenroy surviving after the assassination of Emperor during the "Escape From Prison" introduction quest. Somehow, the game glitched and killed Baurus instead, even gave Glenroy all of Baurus' usual dialog for that point in the game. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw that, even paused and ran off to clean my glasses. After returning, it sure enough said Glenroy at the bottom right-hand corner of my TV.

Purely out of fear that it was a sign of things to come, I promptly quit the game and cleared ALL Oblivion data off my PS3's hard drive. I've since never seen that happen again.

Maybe worth noting is that was on my old PS3. I actually got my PS3 on a rent-to-own deal from a local Rent-A-Center, and by the look of it, it was quite well used (80 GB model, if that means anything to anyone, in terms of possible age). No telling if something could have been wrong with the memory or something, and I don't really trust used electronics. Good thing was, I was reserved a new slim model (which I picked up early Febuary) and all payments I'd made on the old one counted for the new one . (And when they say the new PS3's are slim, they aren't kidding. Incredibly smaller than the old model.)

Other than that, and more importantly, back on topic, the only glitch (of sorts) I consistently see is Lucien Lachance's rumor dialog option. He always gives me the generic Chapel of Dibella murder rumor, instead of what he *should* have (It's something to the effect of, "Dear child, I do not spread rumors. I create them.".), and his voice even changes to the generic male Imperial voice.

I've also had an odd occurance, which I don't know if it's a glitch or not. Someone rode a horse (said NPC was an orc and possibly female (with something that ugly, I have trouble telling and don't recall the name offhand)) into the Waterfront District of the Imperial City and left it there, near the shack for sale. The horse only moved because NPC's kept pushing it around while walking, and that orc never did come back to get the horse. Not sure if someones normal schedule somehow got off-track and then "corrected" itself after they dismounted or what. The guards sure weren't pleased when I made stew meat out of that horse. Perhaps they don't share my taste in cuisine. (I'll admit, I'd much rather have venison stew, but you learn to make do with whatever is available in Oblivion.)

[EDIT]: Ok, I probably should mention that I've only ever Lucien Lachance's correct rumor once, so I may be off on what I put above. I know the one he always gives me is some kind of mishap due to the KotN plugin being installed (as it is by default on the PS3, even in the non-GOTY edition, which is what I have).
