agreed but I would still ware the awesome black hand set at that level

only drawback is that it gives no armor protection but who needs it when they can't even see you coming?

Yeah, she likes it and all pieces are enchanted in various ways. This is not a practical girl. She prefers light armor and thinks the elvish set looks nice on her. She has tried a set of glass armor, but thinks it makes he look bulky. No woman who cares about her looks likes that. :D The daedric armor is not very feminine and the helmet hides her face. She'd never want to hide her face. :)

The snowfur armor that she just bought will be enchanted with resist frost, shield or reflect, fortify endurance and/or health and possibly fortify Illusion. She hasn't decided yet. She will probably leave it at Frostcrag and use it in the mountains around Bruma where she'll most likely run into frost giants, snow leopards and other cool monsters. She might also buy the Bruma house as some sort of sports cabin, but is happy enough in Frostcrag or the Jerall mountain view inn. Her main base of operations is Rosethorn Hall in Skingrad.

Rosethorn Hall is an awesome house. I've made it my mission to fill all the display cases up with cool stuff like all the Daedric artifacts and complete sets of glass, ebony and Daedric weapons.

Agree about Rosethorn. It's a great house. Three of my chars have it. Skade's main base of operations is Anvil so she uses Skingrad for short overnight stops. She got rid of all the clutter, but doesn't decorate much.

Brigitte likes is because its grand and fits her lifestyle. She collects silverware and likes to put jewelry and fine sets of armor and magic weapons in the display cases. She likes her home to shine and dreams about throwing big parties that will be talked about all over Cyrodiil.

Mlle Doucemort, who is a bit more sensible than Brigitte, loves interior decorating and collects fine ceramics. She has a fine set of Sylwan Archer armor for one of her display cases. She chose Skingrad as her base as she likes fine wines, good foods and the urban life.

I have two more characters, a wood elf and a dark elf, but the first doesn't like big cities and the other will set up base in Cheydinhal. He always pops into sweet Falanu Hlaalu's store when passing through Skingrad though. ;)

Not necessarily. :) However, thanks to the modding community there are lots of fine garments in Oblivion nowadays. I like my characters to wear stuff that fit with the role I see for them. My wood elf Tass Tass wears very simple stuff that my breton Brigitte wouldn't even look at.

OK, am I the only one to notice the enormous impracticality of this armour? It leaves the chest area completely unprotected, and is probably only useful for going out in the trendier parts of Skyrim. Even then, it wouldn't offer much protection against muggers...

Name: Quirienus
Race: Imperial
Level: 34
Class: Custom made assassin class with some mage skills (illusion and destruction). It's not fitting very well with my race, I know :P
Weapon: Goldbrand
Armor: Saviour's Hide, Morag Tong greaves, Boots of Bloody Bounding, Fur Gauntlets.

Quirienus started his adventure by saving Tamriel from the Oblivion invasion since he had nothing better to do, and since he thought it would be unfair to ignore the words of the only man in the dungeon who trusted him.
After becoming the Champion of Cyrodiil, he went back to stealing (how do you think he ended up in prison in the first place?) and eventually joined the Thieves Guild. He then went on adventuring, and made a good deal of money by selling Ayleid Statues to Umbaccano. He also did some deadric quests which gave him some good weapons and other stuff.
He started to drink a little bit too much cheap wine, which eventually went to skooma, which went to murder, and the an invation to the Dark Brotherhood. After a while he gave up his skooma addiction, when seeing how things went for poor Faelian. Another reason was his contracts, that was getting more complicated and he needed to stay on focus. :P

After another time of adventuring, he found himself becomming more skilled in the art of magic, and joined the Mages Guild. He now was an expert in the art of destruction magic, and would eventually be skilled enough in alteration so that he only needed his robe and shield spell while rising through the ranks of the guild.

Now he's in the Fighter's Guild, and is later planning to joing the Knights of the Nine :P

Whoa, this was quite much I see :P
Anyway, this is my main character for now.

When enchanted it can be used as armor. Brigitte is thinking about resist frost, shield, reflect and some other stuff. She hasn't decided yet.

The great thing about these games is there is no right or wrong way to play. I actually like to hear stories of the people who roleplay it. It took time for me to figure out how to play morrowind so that I could roleplay my characters better, same with oblivion.

Absolutely. It's great to have 5 characters that are completely different and play them according to their roles. The fierce but good-hearted nord, the petite diplomatic imperial, the vain and reckless breton, the shy sneaky wood elf and the noble lonley dark elf ranger. They probably wouldn't mingle well together if they ever met at a party. The only thing they have in common are their animal companions. Well.. Brigitte is currently doing the Arena to get the adoring fan.

I have played this game since day 1 and I will probably play it for years. None of my characters has finished the main quest yet. They are simply busy doing their stuff. Getting on with their lives in this marvelous fantasy world.
I love this game. :)
