All you've done is add a V (end velocity?) and change the goshdarned power of 10 to 8 rather than 5...

It's the formula for warp velocity.

3 x 10^8 is the speed of light. Multiply that by 10/3 whatever the warp factor is (W) and you have the velocity. I just change it to five personally to reduce the zeros because it's a bit ridiculous.
