I used to have them in December, this is the first year that they're in January.

Today I went to town half an hour or so away with my family, and I ate some food, and we bought some bowls and a new jug, as the last one had metal flaking off into our water. yum yum. I also got to pick a pin number for my bank account, which was some nail-biting action.

'Twas an exciting day.

Not very exciting day today. But I'll tell you one thing; I had a mathtest. I have to say, and this will make someone really sad, that is was easy, ridiculously easy. I only had some trouble with the last question, because it made no sense at all. I pointed that out to our teacher, and it turns out that she had written x instead of 0 in one place. *sigh* Well, at least I'll get a good grade. :Twisted Evil:

Oh, and just to be clear, that last smiley does make sense. At least to some people...

Just thrown my first snowball of the winter. I was trying to lure my housemate out into an ambush outside but it didn't work so I just threw it into the wall instead.

Today, I decided to build a time machine. See, I've got it all worked out. If an older version of me, having spent his life building a time machine doesn't send one back tomorrow, then I'll obviously fail if I dedicate all my life to it, so I won't have a time machine and there's no point trying. If I do get one tomorrow, sweet, I'll have a time machine.

I can't lose.

But what if you eventually build one and your future-self decides the present you is too immature to have that kind of power, so he doesn't send it back in time? Giving up would screw that up. Better try whether it happens or not tomorrow.

Well then it'll be okay because I'll realise this and make the time machine. I win life, I guess.

It's just started to snow big-time in Brighton. We were all about to go to bed when we saw a blizzard and 3 inches or so of powder outside so we decided to go out and play in it. First we wrote a load of rude words in the snow, engaged some people in a snowball fight and pretended we were 6 and had a skidding competition, then we went down to the beach which was just amazing.

I also mixed up Robert Falcon Scott and Ronnie Scott and much hilarity ensued. My new nickname is Ronnie Scott - Polar Explorer.

I want it to snow more.

LAST FRIGGIN DAY OF SCHOOL.

Now I'm finally free of having to sing christian and christmas songs EVERY SINGLE DAY. Doesn't help when your teacher is half-human, half-priest.

If anyone in the UK saw that thing on the news about the wedding in Kent which was saved by them putting out an appeal on the radio asking anyone with a 4x4 to come and help - my mate went to school with the bride!

I really laughed when the reporter said "Some people's choices of transport were not up to the snowy conditions, however" and the camera panned around and showed a load of men in suits trying to push a Maserati out of a snowdrift. Yes, it's snowing and I have to drive on roads that probably haven't been cleared so I'll take my mid-engined Italian sports car.

Ah, the BBC. The TV network that explains housing crises with a man walking around a doll house and charges you £140 for the priviledge.

Took my dog for a walk earlier. He kept eating the snow and so hasn't drunk anything all day. I went out earlier to find a chunk taken out of my snowman, Dr. Congo, and my dog on the ground chewing on the ice chunk I'd used as a frame.

Christmas tree's finally up, at least.

Ah, the BBC. The TV network that explains housing crises with a man walking around a doll house and charges you £140 for the priviledge.
But also the TV network that creates most of my favourite programmes. If my license fee is going towards making Top Gear, Buzzcocks, Later with Jools Holland and Mock The Week I'm happy. I don't want to have to wait a year for it all to appear on Dave.

Also according to the news, "people of a certain age" loved all the snow today. I'm assuming they meant schoolkids, but if everyone in my house is anything to go by that 'certain age' is 22.
