I taught little Cub Scouts how to play soccer (football)! For 6 hours!

It was actually quite fun. Two of my good friends and I taught a total of 62 kids.

Funny story: Towards the end, since most people had left, all the remaining kids decided it would be fun if they all played against us. So it was me and my two friends against nine 7-11 year-olds. So, at first, it was pretty dull, because we scored quite a few times, even though we really weren't trying hard. So then, after scoring two goals, we decided to back off a bit, and let them score.

Well, little did we know that they were getting frustrated. They began to hold our legs and have the remaining ones score while we were incapacitated. 3 of them jumped on me and took me down. I was down for about a minute, with three kids on top of me. One got off, and I stood up with the last two on my back. It was pretty awesome! I'm not sure if anyone took pictures except for the little kids' parents.

On top of all that, it was drizzling and muddy. It was. AMAZING.

The only thing is, I was quoting how they were used in the game.
Which is to say, lowercase.

Today I spent about an hour's worth of time in total explaining my hatred for someone.

Said someone does not actually exist. Is there something wrong with me? :P

Most definitely, especially since it seems that you're the only person on the site who dislikes this particular individual.

I saw Paranormal Activity with 3 girls. It was funny. I didn't show that it scared me though for obvious reasons. :P Has anyone else here seen it? You like?

I got my math grades back! And a 103 is not disappointing at all. I should play Morrowind for the rest of the day to celebrate, but I'm already studying for the next exam

I went to bed feeling a bit run down last night and have woken up with what I can only describe as gangrenous ebola of the bird flu. And it's 36 degrees outside (that's about 0 degrees in Napoleonic) and I have to go to the dole office. And I have no change for the bus so I have to walk there. I am incensed.

How long is this after you went on that rampage at the pub? Ive discovered the recipe for sickness, usually results in a simple cold though. Typically this is how it plays out:

Early night: "Man its really cold out tonight."

Later that night, several drinks later: "It dosnt seem to be cold anymore."

Next morning: "I think im sick."

I think I caught it off my housemate because he's been ill for the last week. Whereas mine is starting to clear up already he was literally acting like he had drug-resistant bubonic plague for a week. In hindsight, walking around the house banging a frying pan with a stick shouting "Bring out your dead!" wasn't the most practical measure.

Not necessarily a Monty Python reference, just a joke I draw on quite a lot. I once quite annoyed my stepmum by telling her that bringing our your dead is a much more onerous household chore than hoovering up dog hair.

while i have never heard you, and you may very well have a terrible stage presence, i think you should take up stand up comedy, as your posts always keep me quite entertained.

If we're ever in the situation where we book a function room for an international UESP party I promise I'll do a set. I've got some fantastic material about why there's so many kebab shops in Birmingham.

The best opener to any stand-up set I have ever seen goes to Mr Matt King, aka Super Hans from Peep Show.
