As long as you keep this civil, and not turn it into a war about which one is best, I'll leave it open.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

I have only played on the Xbox360 so ofcourse i will vote for it... but im guessing the PS3 is basically the same and judging by the amount of Mods on the PC it will most likely be the best imo.

I prefer playing on the Xbox 360. I'll happily admit to being jealous of PC gamers who get their better graphics and mods though.

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
Similar topic going on here. I'll say the same thing here that I've said in the other topic: It's a great experience when playing on the PC, and, in my opinion, a keyboard and mouse is an excellent controller for games that require quick maneuvering and precision aiming, such as Oblivion (at least in first-person view). I do respect consoles as gaming systems, but I also feel that the PC is overlooked as the great gaming system that it is. Sure, having the proper hardware configuration plays a major role in the overall experience of PC gaming, but usually that isn't the main issue. I also appreciate the fact that it's not illegal to mod most games on the PC, depending on the license under which the game is distributed of course. But, what can I say, I've been a PC gamer for many years - since the Quake/Half-Life days when games were finally starting to become more modernized - and I'll always have a special place for PC gaming. Don't get me wrong, though - I think that the interaction provided by console gaming and using a controller is quite fun, but I cannot achieve the same gaming performance on a controller as I can on a keyboard and mouse setup.

Well yeah, but this has a POLL, meaning MEASURABLE results. Yay.

I play on the 360 but prefer the pc at my friends house. I can't afford a nice enough of a pc to play oblivion so i'm stuck where I am.

I would prefer PC, but due to HW problems, I have to play on PS3. I only miss mods on console, but it has better graphics (in comparison with my PC

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
If I had a PC on which I could play the PC version (i.e. I don't have a PC) I'd use that. Until I get one, it's PS3 all the way. I just wish there was some DLC like you can get for Fallout 3.

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
I play PC, but its pointless for me as my 360 would have been better if it didnt break, cuz no matter how much i try i couldnt get mods or use mods that i had made
It really annoyed me cuz its one of the main reasons i perchased it for the PC

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
I have Oblivion for the PS3 and the PC, and can see advantages & disadvantages to both.
PS3 advantages--
The game's graphics and sound are optimized for the PS3. This is tougher to do across a wide array of PC hardware setups.
Really like being able to play with the PS3 controller.
Easier to play on a big-screen TV.
Generally more stable and maybe a bit faster than the PC version.
PC advantages--
MODs. Including all the official content other than KotN and SI. Resurrection of Kvatch FTW!
Unofficial Patches & other bugfixes.
Can tweak graphics & settings to your heart's content.
The console. (Unless you're on a laptop like mine that can't access the console.)

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
I am used to PS3 you can do alot more on PC though aswell as all those amazing plug ins so i will have to go with pc
ps3 you can count on though runs it perfect, im worried that oblivion may lag or be slow on a laptop.

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
i used to play on pcs all the time but got tired of constantly having to dicker around with them. Plus i have computers at work so its nice to escape the happy little worlds of microsoft and osx
so then i played with the playstation a lot, even though the games didn't have the depth and longevity of pc games. But then sony stopped making consoles whilst inventing blu ray etcand the best thing they had was a ps2, whilst microsoft released..
the 360, which is what i play on now. Live is the biggest and best online gaming community for me, pc gamers are often too serious since games are my hobby, not a career choice. Even tho console games follow the 'style over content' model of doing things imo, developers are getting very good at producing games with depth and challenge and i think consoles are the engine that has allowed computer games to escape from the 'computer nerd' cliche into what is now a bigger business than movies
if all of my xbox friends move to ps3, i'll probably do the same. Online gaming is the state of the art in this sort of entertainment (tho i will always enjoy sp games like TES), so whoever offers the most potential fun will win my vote, i don't care who makes the toys

Re: PS3, XBOX360 or PC?
Xbox360, I like the way the controller feels in my hands over the PS3s
the controller feels more solidly built (In my opinion) I also like that i can use my wired controller to play with on my comp
the comp is great thought cause it has tons of mods and add ons
the PS3 doesnt even have all the DLC for regular oblivion so...
overall i like the XBOX360 and the PC

PC by far for me, I started out with the 360 version which I loved and then moved to the PC for mods and better graphics (Of course that's if you have pc to handle oblivion on Max graphics).
