We had the opening night of our play tonight. We totally killed it! The actor for Robin Hood got a blood nose through one scene! It was amazing. At the end with the final bow, me and my sidekick got a standing applause

How do you get 112% in an exam?

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
well see its kind of a mystery to me as well. The best way i can understand it is thusly:r wrote:How do you get 112% in an exam?
You have a base of 100%, no matter how many points the actual test is worth. Meaning if its out of 60 points, and you get 60 points, its 100%, or 100/100 points is 100%.
we have multiple choice that are either right or wrong.
All of our short answer and essay questions are out of X amount of points, with the chance for extra credit. Most professors start you at a 100% for each of these questions, and takes off for wrong information. She starts you at 0% and counts up. So if you have a bunch of things that are right, you can earn extra credit for each piece of relevant information. I gained 21/9 points on one essay, simply because my supporting details were good enough. Its a weird system, and can really screw you over sometimes, but on these occasions its great.
I also drove over to campus today, only to find out there was a water main break, so all classes today are canceled!!!!

I bought a Christmas tree, decorated it, and I have managed to clean almost all of the house apart from the massive pile of clutter that's all over my bedroom floor. I've got some other decorations to put up too - time to break out the hammer!

It's been snowing all of yesterday, last night, and today. I hate snow almost more than I hate people who think video games are a direct cause of events such as Columbine.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
I hate the ignorant game-hating fearmongerers much more than snow, and a lot more than a great deal of things I dislike. I remember hearing that somebody said some serial killing sniper trained by playing Halo. Last I checked, a sniper rifle weighs a good deal more than an Xbox controller, and isn't aimed using two thumbsticks.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
It just makes me angry. Those kinds of people are the reason Oblivion's rating was changed from T to M, thus making my parents almost not allow me to buy it. Thankfully it was explained to my parents by a cool Gamestop employee who had logged over 200 hours on the game.

Same thing happened to me. I went and bought the game with my dad, got home, my dad saw the rating (specifically the sexual themes part) and went and returned it, got back, amidst my dismay I was able to convince him that there was actually no sexual themes in the game, and went and bought it again.Jpot wrote:It just makes me angry. Last night we all had a massive Christmas dinner then watched Cool Runnings. Good times. However I seem to have been lumped with most of the washing up which I'm currently trying to put off doing...

I stupidly cleaned before putting the tree up.
By the time I was done the carpet looked like a forest floor with pine needles..

Which is why I use fake trees - they look just as nice, and the mess is time times smaller and even easier to clean up.The Dog Whisperer wrote:r wrote:I bought a Christmas tree, decorated it, and I have managed to clean almost all of the house apart from the massive pile of clutter that's all over my bedroom floor.
