That "WHAM!" song was created by George Michaels actually, and the song is called Careless Whisper. Listen to Seether's cover of it, it sounds much better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7imqO-OBVkwhoman69 wrote:Worst song ever is called "Playground in My Mind" a one-hit wonder in the 1970's. Man, I just want to slap anyone ever involved in that song.

Equin, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship... what do you think about 'Welcome to the Future' by Brad Paisely... that song has an awful lot of meaning...
"I had a friend in school
Running back of the football team
They burned a cross in his front yard
For asking out the homecoming queen
I thought about him today
And everybody who seen what he seen
From a woman on a bus
To a man with a dream"
I love that too, I know every Brad Paisley song by heart.
"I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste of the blood on my lips, again."

Anything from: Greenday, Basshunter, Disturbed, Muse (not sure why), majority of Nu Metal (I think).
I can't remember the others right now, I can be fairly picky with music but I put up with them if I must

I have a particularly festering hate of country, aside from perhaps the few Prairie Home Companion songs they have in the beginning of the show. Garrison Keilor FTW.
Tennessee Country (Meh.) and Texas Swing,
(My favorite music of all time. OF ALL TIME.)
not that anyone who "hates country" would care to notice...

Can't stand modern country, but the older country songs of the 50's 60's 70's and 80's have kinda grown on me. I cant stand some bands that focus on wailing/groaning noises instead of conveying a musical message. if I wanna hear noise, I'll go to a construction site!

"When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge.
I hated The Wonder Years, and hated how they used that song as Kevin & Winnie's love theme, which meant that it was used to bookmark every moment of romantic angst presented on the show. Bad enough that the song drags on and on in of itself, but the sheer repetition... normally I am not a violent person: but if I hear that song, I will use the most convenient human head that is nearest me to smash the speaker to smithereens.
The fact that the most popular cover of the song is by Michael Bolton does not help anyone's cranial integrity.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Has anyone heard of a show called "FlashForward?" It's an OK show, but at the end of one of their episodes, they decided to use a horrible cover of "Across the Universe," which irked me

FlashForward is full of inappropriate uses of music - what was going on with that cheesy 80s spandex-rock when the FBI dudes' car got blown up?

I just thought ABC bought some kind of "exclusive rights" or something.

would like to say anything by Lady Gaga i hate. I mean Disco Stick...horrible
Although I will most likely severely upset about 90% of the forumers here but I like country and rap/hip-hop. Favorite though is Jimmy Buffett who is his own genre so do not lump him in with country.
I also hate that alicia keys song, no one, because all she does is whine in that song, so it upsets me.

I harbor a seething hatred for most Beastie Boys songs, and every NIN song I've ever heard.
I'll also jump on the anti-Jonas Brothers/Hannah Montanna/Rap/Country band wagon that seems to be going around.
