I like just climbing up to the highest point i can and just watching sunsets and rises. Going down into swamps and sitting by rivers, wandering through the forrest in a thunderstorm, and climbing mountains in the snow. What other game is so involving as to incite you to wander around its world just looking at things. Oblivion is an amazing game for sure.

I disagree Dr. Meaticus, I thought it looked great. I was pretty immersed in the whole cutscene, there may be things to nitpick but I didn't see anything really off-putting.
I absolutely agree, Zincroth. I would be totally fine with just wandering Cyrodiil taking screenshots, only with FCOM that's liable to get me killed, heh.

So I finally completed the main quest and have begun working on quest mods (I was going to finish the mages guild questline, 'til I decided it made more sense for role-playing to just be a high-ranked mage). First is Verona House: Bloodlines. I may be posting more screenshots of this later on, for now, here's a picture of the town, Verona bay.
And one from nearby a quest location for the mod, Chorrol Sunset.

Don't get me wrong. It was a good cutscene, I just think they could have done a better job with one of the main characters from what is essentially the peak of the story's climax.

I don't really think it was meant to look great, he's made out of fire for god's sake. It's like a pheonix that looks like a dragon. The picture was good though.

Well it's been a while since I've taken anything of note... Partly because I've been struggling with mod issues (I didn't realize I had 200+ installed ). My game got so bogged down that I finally decided to reinstall, and due to a variety of reasons I scrapped my old character. Now I've started playing a redguard, and it is the first time I've ever seriously played a full-melee character before (going for a ranger sort). Here are a couple of breathtaking pictures from Aleswell around 8 am: Aleswell Sunrise, Aleswell Sunrise2, Aleswell Sunrise3 (my favorite). Of note are the bridges, added by Arthmoor's excellent New Roads and Bridges Revised.

Sweet. What are your system specs? Running at 1400 x 1050 seems pretty good

Intel Core2 Quad, 2.5 GHz
4 GB RAM
ATI Radion 4670 512MB
Vista 64-bit.

Admittedly I've never posted system specs before, not entirely sure how to do it  Also running Streamline, Oblivion Stutter Remover, weOCPS, which all help. Not gotten any crashes lately since the fresh install, which is awesome.

A few more. Double posting to bring up the thread, hope that's all right.
Tamriel Traveller: picture of a mage-based traveller and her imp pet with the sunrise in the background.
Ruin & Sunrise: picture of Ruined-Tail with Aleswell and the sunrise in the background.
Red Tint: Weather effect that made it a bit like oblivion. Looks interesting.
View from Aleswell: Another great shot from Aleswell. Good place for screens.

The red tint one does look a bit like Oblivion except for the trees. Interesting but probably not something I would like to use a lot.

Yeah, I would be put off if it was constant, but it is a bit of a nice change of pace to have that much variety. Those kind of effects seem to happen mostly in the evenings or mornings, most of the day is pretty normal. Most of the things I deem screenworthy seem to somehow involve the sun and landscapes, so you definitely see a lot of my weathers. That said, I downloaded Unique Landscapes a short bit ago and will be checking some of those out when I come across them... should be great eyecandy.
I wish more people posted here.

When I first made this thread, I had no idea that it would become so popular. I'm just happy that you've kept it up so long. Normally, I would get bored of the scenery but you seem to put a small twist on it each time. Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to post pictures of all kinds. Even if it just seems dumb.

Here are some of my favorite screenshots of (and from) my main character, Tom:
I have some other photos (and many others that I haven't uploaded yet), but those are most of the good ones I have for Tom. Hope you like them.

Nice, but I believe the word that you are looking for in the picture descriptions is "wield" rather than "yield", as in "wielding his Daedric claymore"
And when things start to happen,
don't worry. Don't stew.
Just go right along.
You'll start happening too.

You did a great job with the face, it looks very realistic. I wonder, were you using a light spell in the last two? The green light is a little bit odd, but cool pictures. I have explored so few dungeons, especially the out of the way ones... I have no idea where that is :P

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. Must have missed that when I was typing the descriptions. Fixed now.

Actually, my character was wearing the Grand Ring of Light which casts 50 feet of light. I have it on almost all the time, so yes, that was where the odd shade of green light was coming from. These photos were uploaded back in the Summer of '09 so they're a tiny bit old. ;)

They're very well done, I admit, but I don't think I could ever play a character made by somebody else for very long, and especially not a celebrity. I have a few pictures I've taken recently I'll upload tomorrow, if I get around to it.

Quite understandable.

Adriana CM partner
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23808

Adriana main playable character (10,483 downloads)
http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18693

I think most people like to at least have have a CM Partner or two, which can help them in their quests, or just serve as eye candy, but it's not for everyone. Anyway I am happy to share.

OK, so here's my rundown of the downloadable toons. I like the blond Kristen, Sheyla looks a helluva lot like Sheva from RE 5 and all of the male celebrities look very good. I like that chuck norris got his beard and hat.

Yeah, I like Chuck Norris too. I didn't think it was possible to get a beard that well done with the vanilla facegen system, but it looks authentic.

Character Etana after an arena fight. Those two wood elf twins have never caused me so much trouble :|
Shot taken using tfc displaying the forests of Northern Cyrodiil.
I don't remember if I posted this before, but an older shot from previous character of Paradise.

The arena fight one is good, but the sun makes it difficult to focus on the rest of the picture.

I liked the arena one the most of those, a little more unique than mere landscapes.
The results of an amusing encounter with four bandits. I would've died or had to flee if the rats and mud crabs hadn't come to help :P

No, a mod that makes less dangerous critters nonaggressive. Couple more: Blackwood, Walk Into the Distance. I really like the second one.
