Which NPC....
Which NPC do you think is the most annoying in Oblivion? AND NO ADORING FAN!

Re: Which NPC....
Adoring Fan isn't really annoying. He doesn't really do anything to bug you. You could just tell him to leave you alone and never even speak to him again. Everyone just thinks he's fun to kill

Not really a visible NPC, but the Arena announcer has a really annoying voice, coupled with a very repetitive dialogue.
You can find compassion here but the page turns too fast.

The scholar you protect in that fighters guild mission.
Why even bother hiring protection if you want to charge up to the nearest daedroth and slash it with a feeble axe until it batters you?

Plus it just takes so long for him to shut up! You just want him to lower the stupid gates!skooma wrote:Not really a visible NPC, but the Arena announcer has a really annoying voice, coupled with a very repetitive dialogue.

Farwil. FarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwilFarwil!
God i wanted him dead so bad. In most of my playthroughs I tried different ways of killing him just to make myself feel better when i later reloaded and saved him instead. Several playthroughs i used my most powerful spells to annihilate him. He's a liar, and so arrogant; I even went on tesnexus to see if anyone had invented any torture device which i could stuff Farwil in. I bet I could watch that guy scream for hours on end.

Re: Which NPC....
Farwil is weak, pathetic, disrespectful and completely deserves to die *Hater mentality*. That bugger leapt in the way of my sword or spells so many times in battle. And the Black Courier's fraudulent report on "his heroics" only made me hate him all the more.

Vilena Donton. Once you go to her for orders, she demonstrates her fine leadership skills by shoving you off onto her lieutenant.
The only command decision she ever makes is when she demotes you for no good reason. Even then, she doesn't have the guts to do it face-to-face. Again, she gets someone else to do the job.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

if you're talking about the Fighter's Guild quest I think you're talking about, there's a way to avoid that demotion. might check the wiki.Dark Spark wrote:Vilena Donton. Once you go to her for orders, she demonstrates her fine leadership skills by shoving you off onto her lieutenant.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Glarthir gets my vote if I had to name just one.
I HATE being followed ... and having unwanted quests dumped in my active quest log is just enough icing on the cake for me to want to unscrew this guy's head and use his skull for some unsavory purpose I have yet to consider appropriate to the disdain I have for him.
not to mention the fact that he usually pops up at the most inopportune times (ulterior motives)! I just REALLY want to shove a bottle of skooma down his throat and send him off to find his "happy place"!

I've always hated how they follow you all around the guild halls, even if you're the guild Master. What, are they paranoid about you going on a killing spree in there? Your fame could be as high as the hills, and some people in Oblivion still won't trust you. Quite funny, actually.chromalfean wrote:Fighter's Guild Porters (all)

The Mages' Guild higher-ups.
"Hmm? Yes I'm sure you have something exceedingly important to say." Yeah, I do: shut up.
Although there's that one that glitches and actually talks to you. He only has the generic dialogue but at least he isn't sarcastic.
