Imperial Legion Animals

Is there any reference to the imperial legion using animals in warfare? Thanks.

They ride horses in-game, so why not use them in warfare
as well? And I question the lore base of this question. Horses
are animals. I think you could more appropriately ask if they
used the creatures found in the wild in war. Then again, if
that's what you were asking, please try being more specific.

Im being specific did they use animals eg. Dogs etc. in warfare .

They're a traditional legion. Even without an article to prove
it, it's logical to assume that if they could tame it, they used
it in war. Why would people shy away from using resources
that they put so much time and effort into?
