Here's some things I doubt you knew about me then.

1) I have to word this quite carefully for a family forum... I lost something quite special when I was 20. This may be an unfashionably late age to lose it but have since been informed that this is apparently quite cool and slightly bohemian. So that's good then. I beat Chris Martin by a year too, although it's not hard to see why to be honest.

2) I have no magical powers whatsoever.

3) My first kiss ended with the girl in question being sick on me. Like all the best things to happen to me in life, however, it does mean it is the subject of a good anecdote.

4) I'm probably unhappy about 60% of the time - if this doesn't come across it's because I tend to refer to people who constantly project their misery on people on the Internet via the medium of Facebook status updates as either 'bloody narcissists' or any number of 4-letter words that I can't print here.

In a vain attempt to right this very obvious derailment, and to go back to the source of this ad-lib (the prodigal never-ending ad-lib is here!) I do think EquinGirl is very pretty, but don't worry, I mean that purely as an observation and not in a creepy way at all. I'm not going to start trying to chat you up via PM or anything like that. No-one wants that.

Oh look, that's brought me neatly on to another secret! Despite what I might say occasionally on here I'm actually pretty average at talking to girls. Mainly I just don't really know how to act - if I act myself I'll probably scare them off because they'll think I've been possessed by John Cleese, and if I try to pass myself off as the strong silent type that usually lasts for about 14 seconds, as this post has demonstrated nicely...
