A cool little thing u never notice
OK i noticed this when i was randomy going around and starting fights with npcs. What i found is supposely when u attack a npc they should attack you but ever now and then if i attack ( npc A) then (npc B) would attack (npc C) when neitehr of them had nothign to do in the fight. I think when a fight breaks out other npcs use that to their advantage and atatck another innocent npc they don't like so they don't get in trouble
If i told you I was a liar, would you believe me?

The character you attacked (NPC a) and either NPC b or NPC c is in guild or something, and the other one is in a guild with you. If you are completed with the Mage's guild go to the Imperial City wizard tower and start a fight with a guard, all guards will start attacking you and all battlemages will be helping you.

Yes, it depends on the disposition other NPCs have with you and other NPCs. If someone has a high disposition towards you, they are likely to help you. If someone has a low disposition towards you, they are likely to help your opponent.
You should have seen the street fight I had a while ago in Leyawiin when I was on a quest for the Dark Brotherhood and guild member Taelendril was nearby. It was the two of us against the city guards and a couple of towns people.

Actually ,Lachance or Ocheeva states (or is it the five tenets?) that if you're caught with blood all over your arms and dirty little dagger, it's you against the world, 'cause by sending and army of assasins they all blow their cover.
So it's quite strange, that Taelindril would help you, rather than run away or "try" to shoot you. But again, she IS an elf. Sleeping with an Orc. So she might not be that smart after all.

I came, I read, I wrote.

That was probably because one of the NPCs wanted to help your enemy, the other one wanted to help you. Therefore, they started fighting each other.Gandolf828 wrote:Iknow if u attack someone a npc might help u but when i atatcked someone another npc attacked another npc that wasn't doing a thing. P.S.: ace62394, don't you think the picture in your signature is a bit oversized?
LOL. That reminds me of the daedric quest where you have to capture souls. I walked up to a group of orcs in mid conversation and hit one at which point his friend shouted 'I love a good barfight' (we were in the middle of a forest...) and proceeded to attack his friend. I wasn't happy that he'd joined in on my side cause it made me feel a bit like a cheat, I'm an honorable warrior and quite capable of murdering an orc on my own so just to show him how much I didn't approve I cut him down as well. Bloody orcs, even murder there best mate for the sake of a good fight!

I know roll-players that talk with an accent (supposedly elvish) with their friends in the basement playing D&DPiberius wrote:When I see a fight, being a serious roleplayer, will promptly paralyse those involved and walk circles around them explaining why it is better to talk out their problems. While actually I am speaking aloud to my self in my basement.
