Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Well today I was finally given an assessment (at course) that is to do with my future, sad part is.. it's biology! Lets just say there is a very good reason why I failed Bio at school-it's science and absolutely anything to do with sciences and genetics just causes me to switch off XD Just ask EquinGirl haha well she is actually very smart when it comes to human genetics especially about eye colours, I remember that Hazel and Green are together, well the same category? and then Blue and Brown are complete opposites... god I suck at science

Today I discovered a fun, new way to enterain myself- there is bug on the computer screen, and every time it tries to move I put my cursor in front of it- the stupid thing thinks the cursor is blocking it so it turns in the other direction-and the cycle goes on

Yknow, DL, that's where I went for my army training, Fort Benning. You should head over another four hours east while you're in the neighborhood anyway.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
So the more astute of you may have noticed that it's my 4th birthday today, and I didn't want to be so narcissistic as to actually make a separate post on that so I thought I'd integrate it into this one.
So I opened all my presents, including £20 from my dad with strict instructions to spend it on a bottle of JD because he couldn't send that through the post, so I did just that. Then me and my housemate went on a walk on the Sussex Downs, across a ridge then back along a route of our own devising that was tantamount to trespassing in places... Then I opened some presents from my other housemate, which were all just silly little things like socks, a tiger-shaped plate and a fishing DVD. Made me laugh though.

I tried that afte reading this, a fly went onto the screen... but it just sat there... mocking me... well long story short; I had to clean up a dead squashed fly from my monitor (damn thing ruined my fun! It needed to die!)EquinGirl wrote:Today I discovered a fun, new way to enterain myself- there is bug on the computer screen, and every time it tries to move I put my cursor in front of it- the stupid thing thinks the cursor is blocking it so it turns in the other direction-and the cycle goes on

And living on the farm means you get the big farm flies and the blow flies!! =D which neither move for you so you have to touch them! Luckily the town flies know to avoid people so we don't need to stick our fingers on them... or cursorsEquinGirl wrote:Freakin' ew is right, I absolutely hate fliesDragour wrote: (ew)

I left school early today, because my teacher wasn't there. I thought that I could do my math at home... yeah right?! I can't make it out. I've never really had difficulties with maths before, but now...
I gave up, and that's why I'm here now. I think I must make a cup of tea to regain some sort of mental strength.

I've had a really good day today, because I was going into the bank, and the door said 'Pull' but I pushed it and it still opened.

Well, today nothing much happened. Hmm... I have a D+ in Geometry, but that's about it. Well, I did learn that Daft Punk is meant to be listened to in full blast. Nice music. ESPECIALLY ALIVE 2007.

Well, my earlier high has now been nullified by the fact that I am unable to dismantle my broken chair mentioned a few pages ago to take it to the tip, because I've lost the Allen key that came with it. Why couldn't those idiotic Asda designers just have used normal screws instead of Allen-headed ones so I could just use my power drill to take it to bits with? Looks like I'll be breaking out the Audio Engineer's Screwdriver* instead.
I've spent most of the day typing, currently working to transcribing about 10 handwritten pages an hour, which is £10 per hour I'm earning, making this cheeky cash-in-hand freelance work I'm doing the most lucrative job I've ever had.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Today, a friend and I had finished early in French, so we had to play this French quiz "game". We decided that instead of actually playing it, we'd hold The General Elections. We chose four teams and put large political parties in. I'd like to expand, but I fear the no-politics rule would interfere. Let's just say that I'd be surprised if the actual General Elections produce the same results next time...
