A mad man would run directly to his prey.
While an assassin stalks them.

There are two pretty blatant misspellings (qwelling and essense). I wonder if these are the second symbol.

Tiber Septim ws - wayshrine?

this is what Kestral wrote: Trials and Incantations, qwelling the disarrayed Anu
Balms given, Essences studied, he Ranks
Salvation, essense, none; nonsense: pelanu
Eternal memory, I called, no murderer
Papers written, forever, a life to stop
Telling of this life, Iconic maybe, this shall end, this, scene
long this, long enough to escape the tears of the Mother.
reposting it
along with the WS, there is an extra capitalized A, not fitting into tiber septim
Trials and Incantations, qwelling the disarrayed Anu
and put into order, would be the word "was", may be helpful...

ALSO, i pulled this up in a notepad and played around with it a little bit and came up with this by not starting a new line until a comma, or in one case a semicolon. and it seems to sound a little less like nonsense like this. did i do anything worth doing kestral?
I wrote:Trials and Incantations,
qwelling the disarrayed Anu Balms given,
Essences studied,
he Ranks Salvation,
essense,
none;
nonsense: pelanu Eternal memory,
I called,
no murderer Papers written,
forever,
a life to stop Telling of this life,
Iconic maybe,
this shall end,
this,
scene long this,
long enough to escape the tears of the Mother.
Also, i came up with this by taking all the capitalized letters and separating them by the commas:
I wrote:Trials Incantations, Anu Balms, Essences, Ranks Salvation Eternal,
Papers, Telling, Iconic, Mother
this sounds like it may mean something as well.

the colon and semicolon seem important in some way as well, so:
I wrote:Trials and Incantations, qwelling the disarrayed Anu
Balms given, Essences studied, he Ranks
Salvation, essense, none

nonsense: pelanu
Eternal memory, I called, no murderer
Papers written, forever, a life to stop
Telling of this life, Iconic maybe, this shall end, this, scene
long this, long enough to escape the tears of the Mother
----------OR----------
Trials and Incantations, qwelling the disarrayed Anu
Balms given, Essences studied, he Ranks
Salvation, essense, none; nonsense:

pelanu
Eternal memory, I called, no murderer
Papers written, forever, a life to stop
Telling of this life, Iconic maybe, this shall end, this, scene
long this, long enough to escape the tears of the Mother
I believe this is all i have to add

I've said it before and I'll say it again, THE A WAS A MISTAKE. I even fixed it.

Another thing I noticed . . .

the last letters of each line spell "usurper"

Tiber Septim, usurper,

Don't know how that fits in with qwelling and essense. Don't know if those words fit in at all. Don't know anything, really!

The whole riddle still reads like a lot of pelanu, if you ask me! There may still be anagrams, acronyms or other tricks lurking about. Tread carefully or you're likely to fall into a trap!

Is it Pelagius, Tiber Septim's son? His mother was an unknown woman. And, Pelagius only reigned 4 years after he was crowned. He was assassinated by the DB.

Is that a response to my answer or to Marcus' response to the second clue of "usurper"?

I could not find anything about Tiber being overruled. After he died, Pelagius took over. It doesn't say anything about being overruled. I tried to find if he was assassinated, but cannot find any mention of how he died.

Could the answer be Emperor Cuhlecain?
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Alright gang, maybe "usurper" should be considered as Usurper (with a capital "u") like in The Refugees.

Time to do a wiki search . . .

Mehrunes Dagon?

I apologize if we have already guessed this one. Ive been off the forums for a bit due to life interfering and at the moment, the forums are moving slow for me, so I dont feel like taking the time to look back through.

Based off the recent posts since I have been off, I looked at Usurper, Tiber Septim, which has been known since almost the start of the riddle(btw, was I the first to post about that, just want to know for a not necessary ego boost lol), and wiki'ed usurper. Camoran(sp?) was the only thing that came up, and seeing i wasnt sure if it relates to mankar, I can't remember, slow forums, but I looked at Dagon's page. He was involved with the plot to overthrow the emperor, he is involved with mankar camoran, there was a camoran who may or may not be related, septim was the septim of the emperors line. They all seem to relate, with dagon as a common factor.

I explained all that, that way in the off chance I am right, everyone knows I did put thought into it. Granted not much thought, as it is almost 1 AM here, I worked this evening, I work in the morning, and I am not at 100%, or even 60% right now (as seen by my horrible grammar, syntax, and spelling).

Anyway, Dagon is my guess

American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII), pronounced /ˈæski/[1] is a character-encoding scheme based on the ordering of the English alphabet.

Wait... so is it Camoran?
And when things start to happen,
don't worry. Don't stew.
Just go right along.
You'll start happening too.
