Living underwater

Post by warandgore »

Okay so I've been walking around in water for awhile now, diving for pearls and whatnot and I wondered...could I live underwater.

I'm playing an Argonian so I can breathe underwater to begin with but say I setup like a little underwater "lair" where I stored stacks of whatever items and my pearls and what not would it get reset?

Wait a minute I just thought of something, my stuff would float wouldn't it?

Anybody know anything about this?

-Thanks

There is no home underwater.

Yes, they will float.

And I can't think of an underwater home that's suitable for a "home."

hmm not sure, i think most stuff sinks to the bottom, but it might depends on the weight, as for the reset thing, i know that in imp. city etc dropped items dont reset, but because it i outdoors it might be different.

I don't think it would get reset. The only problem might be that it could be hard to find your items after you left. If you want to make it easier to find your items, I suggest storing them in a clam, because they don't respawn. This will keep all your items together and they won't float to the surface. Also, if you place your own map marker where put your stuff, it can help you to relocate it.

As I said above, if you put your items in a clam, they won't float to the top.

I don't think you will be able to 'Wait' underwater, even as an Argonian. I might be wrong though.
Doin my own, thang, and if you got a problem with that
Then the nina go bang, bang, and I'll be everywhere on the map - but
I rep that West

You're right, you can't wait underwater.

That's cool. I really just want to do it for fun. Not really trying to make a practical house to store all my important stuff. Just thought it'd be fun to have a little place to hide in one of the smaller lakes.

Whoa, that looks pretty cool. I have the PS3 version though. PC mods are freakin' sweet though. I'm afraid if I had the PC version I'd spend more time finding mods than playing the game.

What's that watery cave with all the argonian tribesman? That sounds like a good choice given your thing. You'd have some [&@%!] off roomies once every 3 days though.

I think I know what you are talking about. Is it a cave somewhere near Leyawinn (or maybe Bravil) that houses about 50 Argonian Tribesman, and it comes with OOO (or FCOM, atleast)? Yeah, I've been there, thank goodness I had about 50 Black Soul Gems with me. 8)

Clams don't respawn so if you find the perfect spot with clams there then you have storage but still, its not very realistic storing swords in clams

A mad man would run directly to his prey.
While an assassin stalks them.

Actually any metal or heavy item will sink, if you don't believe me, find a steel longsword and go to a bridge or to the beach somewhere and drop it in.

It will go bye-bye, I promise.

Clothes and other cloth materials don't sink, but heavy items will.

Since both of you really just tried to post an answer to the question-for someone who doesn't use the forums anymore, I believe it is ok for me to point out that this was necroposted.
