Cool things or moments you have done / seen in Morrowind

Hello people

What is the coolest thing you have done in Morrowind?. Any moments in the game, be it main quest, sub quest or just when you were wandering around, that you thought were really cool?

The coolest thing I have done is manage to get my character to level 21, with a massive sword and axe, which means I can now visit the strongholds and ruins dotted around the map knowing I have a chance to kill the enemies inside and get the treasure. I've died SOOOOO many times in the past when I entered a stronghold with a low level character and got absolutely smoked lol, so being able to kill the enemies is cool

And i remember when you couldn't hit them on Xbox and you were like shouting at it and stuff XD

When a creature chases you, it follows your "trail" repeating your every move until you stop and it catches up with you. I discovered I could exploit this simple AI behaviour to make whole packs of Wolves in Solstheim (Bloodmoon) follow me around like a line of ducklings behind mother duck. I spent over an hour running in large circles and zig-zagging through trees, etc, laughing as I watched my "Amazing Performing Circus Doggies" doing tricks!

Coolest thing I have ever seen in Morrowind is when I summoned a bunch of dudes, ran into a big bad dungeon, made myself levitate and watched the whole battle. It was neat.


Done? Killed King Helseth, took his ring. Then killed everyone else.

Kidding again, I took his ring once but left the people alone. Soft hearted me.

The neatest thing I have ever done was take over a daedric shrine! I took my super-evil dood, Kythka, and siced him on Ald Sotha. Those dremora were falling right and left.

I once jumped from Tel Fyr EXACTLY onto the bridge towards the Telvanni council house in Sadrith Mora.

Moments I'll never forget in Tribunal...

- The mad woman in the Forgotten Sewer. She was one TOUGH cookie!
- The long-drawn out battle with Gaenor because I couldn't hit him for toffee!
- The shock of Almalexia's sudden betrayal. I thought she was my friend!

One time I had to get up on a ledge, and I couldn't jump high enough to reach it. So I summoned a Skeletal Minion, and jumped on top of it then on top of the ledge.

The coolest thing I've ever done was the first time I was headed north of Hla Oad and ran into Fjol at level2. Thinking to myself, 'Whose this *insert insultuous name here* tryin to shake me down? I could...-clicks refusal to give Fjol gold and is promptly attacked and taken to 1/10th of my health- RUUUUUN! And I did, I ran like a little pansy back towards Hla Oad and was saved by those TribunalswallowingzealotGuards. It was fantastic, Fjol managed to take one down in his efforts to get at me before he was ganged up on by three more... And they felled him. I looted his corpse(well, both of them) and went on my merry way.

By the way, Fjol could've killed me in one hit if I hadnt been playing a big beefy Orc with all the strength and endurance under the sign of The Lady with all those fighting skill major and minors. >.>


Explanation: Too many errors in the initial post, had to correct some oversight on my own part. I had said it was Gnaar Mok and even misspelled it, saying Gnar Mok. But whatever! All fixed.

I'm having some moments at the moment... Instant deaths! The Kagouti I didn't know was chasing me (one bite). The Dark Brotherhood assassin (one dart). Several times wearing the old Cliff Racer hat (one sting while frantically running back to town with one glommed onto my head). And many more. Serves me right for starting a new game and relegating ALL three armour skills to Misc, where they started at a measly 5 each. I have a pathetic armour rating of 1! Then again, the intention WAS to make the game more difficult... Certainly gets the adrenaline pumping! Current strategy? Uh oh. Run a.w.a.a.a.a.y! GUARDS!

i was in Ebonhart being pwned by guards, needed a quick escape so I read my last scroll or Icarian flight and jumped without any slowfall or levitation magic to save me. In a vaguely easterly direction I flew up through the clouds, up up up down down down Vivec cantons directly below me, lots of solid bridges and walkways.
I actually splash landed -safely- in the water about 1 foot away from death next to the most easterly Canton, and 'calmly' swam away.

i might add i was going through a phase of 'when youre dead, youre dead' character generation so wasn't going to reload this one if the guards got him or he splatted on the ground. Makes every second precious..

there was much drinking of beer in Suran that night, but that's another tale

Boozy nights in Suran, eh? At Desele's House of Earthly Delights, no doubt? Been there...

In fact, my healthy red-blooded male Breton spent a few game hours there after I installed a *certain* version of Better Bodies. Er... Novelty value!

I've got a mod that makes morrowind "come alive" and I just got laid in ald'ruhn. It was kind of a surprise, but the gal said for just 200 drakes she would make me the happiest orc ever.

What do you know, that's exactly how much cassuis gave me for "expenses" to see the ashlander merchant in the same motel. After it was all said and done I kind of felt weird coming out of the room with everyone staring at me, inches away from my private chamber, most likely likely listening in on the goings on of a certain imperial under a certain orc. "Make it quick, outlander"
... Oh God, they were even mocking my inabilities...


Actually, it wasnt that cool. I kind of felt a wave of embarrassment and shame. Thank God the merchant was on the other side of the motel, although the question of why the poetry book was moist and sticky did come up.

I had to tell the poor guy I found it in a pile of ectoplasm adventuring through some dark cavern. That's more or less a true story. Let's just say I killed two birds with one stone, that imperial wasn't the only thing to get plundered that night in the motel.

Like killing that netch with a fork or slaying pretty much almost everyone in that Balmora club to get that stupid guard give me a very useless ring....

Exactly why I was *certain* to make sure MY post was rated U rather than 18...

OK, kids. Hasan's post means "Charmed (conned) a nice girl I met in Aldruhn into buying me a 200 drake expensive glass of Vintage Dagoth Brandy (plundered her money), but it made me SO drunk I spilled it on her book of poetry as I collapsed forward onto the table (laid out) and she had to give me CPR from underneath. How embarrassing to be mocked for my inabilities to even hold a glass upright!

Jumping around shooting off a custom spell, (Fire Damage 100pts on Target for 5 seconds in 50ft + Weakness to Fire 100pts on Target for 5 seconds in 50ft), killing basically everyone in Mournhold.

That was pretty cool.

Yep. That's similar to one of my mini-games I play for fun. I save the game first, then levitate to about 100ft and "nuke" a small village with my custom spell called "Photon Torpedo"! Seyda Neen has never been the same since (I feel so guilty)...

I recently came across this random elf who fell from the sky. His journal said that he was practicing a flying spell of some sort, but clearly things didn't work out as he was dead. Odd, but he had a few things on him I could sell (including his journal, which is oddly more valuable than many of the published books).

Going to any city/village/Temple and killing everybody with my bare hands. Guards take a really long time, but totally worth it.
