WTF is up in Gnaar Mok?
This is probably mod-related (Morrowind Comes Alive perhaps) but I have a strange problem in Gnaar Mok. There is a tall, very tough character in black (not the DB armor) there who is getting pummeled by like 8 guards and it takes them a good 3 minutes to bring him down. I am curious about who/what he is but wouldn't have paid it too much mind if not for the actual issue which I think is probably related somehow: once I set foot in the village itself I have an immediate 50000 bounty. Not sure why or what to do once I actually need to go there for a quest.
Thanks.
Thanks.

What other mods are you running?

Open your console, click on the NPC so his id appears at the top of the console window and enter ori That will tell you where it is from.

SetPCCrimeLevel [Value] Sets your Bounty to [Value]. For example, “SetPCCrimeLevel 0” would clear you of your crimes.

Re: WTF is up in Gnaar Mok?
Thanks, I found out. It's Silgrad Tower and that's actually the beginning of the mod it turns out, bounty and all. I am not far in a new game and thinking about turning it off now in order to have access to GM (and it also changes the all the NPC rumors so I'm missing out there). But I recently added it and many other mods to a fresh install using the Morrowind Expanded guide and it's supposed to work best starting fresh with them all, especially Silgrad and Tamriel Rebuilt. Might have to clean saves with Wrye too which is new to me.
Thanks for all the responses, good helpful info in general.

Now THAT is a strange mod... adding 50k bounty on entering a town as PART of the mod's storyline? YIKESWrigleyvillain wrote:Thanks, I found out. Re: WTF is up in Gnaar Mok?
Yeah actually it adds a gigantic new land mass west of Vardenfell like Tamriel Rebuilt does on the east though I kind of wish like TR you just had to go over there when you wanted to "play" it. To "start" this mod it adds a pirate ship and pirates attacking the guards to Gnaar Mok and they mistake you for one of the pirates hence the bounty. Also almost if not all NPC rumor dialog now talks about the pirate ship instead of their original content. I want these additional land masses and content but now having second thoughts about this particular one.Zmery wrote:
