The views and the people. The NPCs are so much more varied and unique than in vanilla Oblivion, and it's cool you get to choose which side in many quests.

Yeah, Sheogorath's dialogue rules. And many other NPCs' in SI. He tends to play with the words and idioms so it's a lot of fun just listening/reading the dialogue.Lorkmir wrote:I would have to say Sheogorath

I think its a combo of everything: the people, the places, the scenery, the items, the Quests, etc.
All of it make it such a unique place. In fact, the characters that I take there, after awhile, I don't want to go back to Cyrodil because in comparsion, it seems boring and too drab.

Re: You fave thing about shiver isles
I disagree. Cyrodiil's wilderness is very beautiful, but the Isles have so much more uniqueness, thereby making it more beautiful.IVTesIV wrote:i still prefer Cyrodiils wilderness
Cyrodiil's wilderness looks like any other beautiful landscape that you could find in our world.
The Isles don't resemble anything in our world. To me, that makes it more beautiful.....when its different and one of a kind.

The cleverness and freedom of it. Finally, we get to pick a side! We get to affect the outcome! It's like the choices we make have real consequences, good and bad.
I also like the Hunger summon. THe second best summon in the game, I think, with the best being the Dremora Lord.

Re: You fave thing about shiver isles
Im with you, once I started going into SI I didnt want to go back. It was then, when I felt I no longer wanted to go back, that I understood why that Dark Elf you meet at the gate had gone mad. You'd have to be nuts to leave SI.Kaelan Corvinus wrote:I think its a combo of everything: the people, the places, the scenery, the items, the Quests, etc.

Sheogorath. His dialogue ROCKS! And he has a beard (unlike any other existing NPC).

Sheogorath, hands down. There would be no point in the SI without him.

Syl's the sexy one. I can see why he jumped at the chance to get with her in the questline.Yoshi wrote:Lord Thadon, obviously.
