I don't know about America, but in England, technically you're allowed to drink alcohol from the age of five, you're just not allowed to buy it...

It used to be 18 here in the states i think back in the 70s but eventually went up to 21.

You aren't allowed to consume or buy alcohol in the States until you're 21. Sigh.

Well I remain 18, as I turned so at the beginning of the year =( going to be march next year I turn 19
