tgm. Makes you invulnerable, plus that you can carry all the weight you want.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

You can also use what ever spells you want, regardless of your levels.

Those who don't use cheats are rookies. They still drink health potions and sleep to rejuvenate themselves.

Agree with ts198. Cheating makes the game too easy. And for ace, the tcl lets you walk trough walls, and eliminates gravity.

i'd say tcl if it didn't bug when you enter somewhere that has a door through the wall. But tcl is awesome for when you have to shut down oblivion gates and your sick of it... Just fly up, enter one door and get the SS.

Therefore I'd have to say tgm is probably the best... But it makes it a bit too easy... Being a vampire isn't nearly as much fun if you don't HAVE to drink blood to keep at 25% and not die everytime you go out for a sun(or blood)bath

cheats are beautiful and it's a damn shame there is no way to cheat on the 360 version (and PS3 too maybe?)

which reminds me... anyone know of a quick way to remove all spells? after the add all spells cheat you stop using god mode and then cant use most of them and the huge list (600+) annoys you and you have to remove one by one... (serves you right for cheating)..

Anyway, if some1 knows of a way to quick erase them, that'd save me a whole lotta work.

exactly, you said it right there. Too easy is the key phrase. Who wants to stress themselves out on a video game? Aren't they supposed to be fun? Well what fun is it when you have to travel through the same cave over and over and over because you keep dieing? How is it fun when you have to continuously travel to one of your houses to drop crap off and wait for those painful loading screens? What part of constantly hitting an enemy with a crappy destruction spell because you don't have enough magic for the awesome ones is fun?

Fun to me is being all powerful and not having to worry about a single enemy or trap in the game. The only cheat I get on the 360 is duplicating, which is nice, but I wish so much that I could have unlimited health, infinite magic and all my stats so high that I can do anything with ease! Oh I wish I could do these things, but alas I'm not going to go out and buy it for PC just for that, and I absolutely hate Microsoft for not allowing cheat devices like the code breaker on the 360 (or the original xbox for that matter).

To be completely honest, I don't understand honest players. It's just a game and has absolutely no effect on your real life whatsoever so why does it matter if you cheat? If you like a challenge, or enjoy doing the same thing over and over again then I guess I can see someone not wanting to use cheats, but other then that I don't understand what's not to like about cheating.

(I do have to say, while quite funny, the rookie comment really didn't make too much since)

I'm afraid I don't, but I didn't know there was away to remove spells at all...or is that PC only maybe? It is very annoying, I wish they created a more organized inventory for this game.

because after some time it offers no challenge... and it becomes boring... Even at this kind of games where you can freely slaughter the entire world with an AOE 100pts of thunder damage for 200ft...

After a while it just becomes too easy.. and too easy becomes boring. It's more satisfying if you have to fight for it. If monsters don't damage you at all, then fighting a goblin or a daedra warchief is the same thing... Imo that's it, in a nutshell... But if you can't go through some part, it's stupid to not cheat :P

Hmmm, how to explain the complexity of not cheating. First off I will agree with you that cheating has no bearing on my real life, but neither does not cheating. I hate cheaters. HATE!! Cheaters are someone who does something that shouldn't allowed to be able to do normally within the confines of the game that they are playing. Not including mods, which enhance the already present quality of the game. You seem to me(opinion) you would be the type of person who would go play Counter-Strike on a Valve Anti-Cheat server, just to [&@%!] off the people who like the challenge. How long do you have to wait for those painful loading screens? Maybe a total of 5minutes. OMG it might just kill you. I have not done the same cave over and over, because of dieing, I don't die. Yeah I may not have the most powerful spells, or even the best weapons, but I can get by with what I have. If you get stressed out by the normal play of games why even play. You must be so strung out normally that cheating is the only way to escape. Being all powerful is nice, very nice. But why not earn your status as the most powerful. That way you actually feel that you accomplished something instead of just taking the "easy" way out. Cheating is like sucidie. People who can't handle the stress just take the easy way out. Life is about being able to roll with the challenges that you face. So is Obilvion, as it has more realism in the aspect of challenges when not cheating. To be completely honest, I don't understand the fasicination with cheating. I play a fairly large collection of games. In everyone I have encountered cheaters/hackers who feel that because they can, they should. That is when it takes the fun out of it. Take for instance Counter-Strike Source, hackers will join a room just to take out non-hackers, why?? Because they can?? Because it is fun?? HOW?? How is shooting someone automatically without any real SKILL. That is what this all about, SKILL. You have to have skill to be able to play games without cheating.

Can any PC users actually play the game without cheats?

Post by Paladin_Warrior »

codex wrote:tgm. Makes you invulnerable, plus that you can carry all the weight you want.

What is the point in even playing the game with such a pathetic - for wimps only cheat such as that!?

I guarantee that anyone who plays Oblivion on Xbox 360 could kick the sorry arse of anyone who plays on PC, if they both had to play head to head, without cheats!

Anyone who perpetually relies upon cheats and mods, as some of you PC players do couldn't even play this game on their own merit, on the Xbox.

God forbid that you'd have to level up, or gain merit, or abilities by actually doing things for yourself, instead of 'poof - install this cheat and become superman'.

Take this post in the good humour it was intended, but feel free to also take it to heart, because every bit of it's true.

And, no one should 'FLAME' back on this post, as it really ain't that serious, eh!? ;-)

I'm just answering his question. And for 360 players kicking PC players asses, I believe you mean that the PC player is playing with the 360 controller then.
